AMZOSS 20L 5 Gallon Metal Gas Can
As soon as I received this can I filled it with gas. I wanted to have a can that could last a lifetime. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 for safety features is because of temperature change I imagine. When I opened it, it was throwing up fuel like a baby. I had to find rags to block and wipe up the fuel that it was spilling everywhere. Other than that this gas can is awesome.

Decent can, but.....
The can came in with a dent and was difficult to replace, so I kept it. The nozzle leaks like a colander.

NOT True NATO Spec, and detachable spout leaks very badly.
NOT a true NATO-Spec can! While the overall design is largely BASED ON the NATO Jerry Can, and it is most certainly a better option than pretty much any plastic fuel can I've seen/used, there are a few differences between this and a true Jerry Can, some of which are very important. By far the main and most important differences are the thickness of the metal it's constructed of, and the way in which the 2 stamped metal halves of the can meet up to be welded together. It seems to me to be made of slighter thinner guage steel that the authentic surplus Jerry Can that i own, but i suppoose i could be mistaken. However, what I am certain about is that when making these cans, the manufactorer chose the simpler/easier/CHEAPER way to join the 2 stamped halves together for welding. On a NATO Jerry Can, if you look at the welded joint, that goes all the way around the entire mid-line of the fuel can, you will see that the steel stampings are formed in a way that, once held in place with one edge ovelapping the other, they combine to form an upper case "M" shape, and the welding is done in the small "v" shaped area in the center. this is done not only to make the steel stampings a bit stronger, but also so that the welded seam isn't the area that touches the ground and/or rubs against things that may touch the can itself. These cans are done the cheaper, and much worse way, of simply having an outward protruding, flat "lip" on each half the can, and once brought together, those lips are welded. This results in their being an approximately 1/2 inch tall rigid "spine" that goes all the way around the gas can, preventing it from even sitting flat and level on hard surfaces like concrete, truck bed, etc...The craftmanship is not nearly as good as a real Jerry Can either, but is decent and no major complains about that, besides the very cheap looking spout that comes with the can. It appears that the foreigner that welded mine was having his first exerience EVER with a welder because they are horrendous looking welds, which is using that term loosely because it's more like just weld "spatter" applied all over the joints. On top of that, the spout/nozzle that came with mine is absolutely unusable, because it leaks almost as much gas onto the ground and myself as the amount that mangages to get into whatever you are attempting to put it in. And yes, ive made sure that the rubber gasket seal is in place and on there properly. It is 100% still on there, but it's not preventing the leaking. And I don't mean a minor amount of gas leaking out, it is a significant amount that prevents me from even using the spout!

Holds fuel, seals tight
Holds fuel. Seals tight, I doubt a single drop has spilled.

Included spout not good.
Can itself is fine. The included spout is pretty much worthless. Fuel comes out the vent and it is not flexible enough.

Can is good. Spout is worthless
Can holds fuel. Spout leaks really bad.
