I went to my local hardware store to pick up one of these, and they wanted 20 bucks for it. Definitely couldn't do that. I got this one and it works great, looks nice, and was easy to install. The most difficult part was using to clamps to break off the metal rod to size to fit the interior button, but even that was easy.

We had a rental property with the bad handle. After carefully matching the handle and door frame catch to the ones available on Amazon, this one matched and installed on the existing screen door perfectly. The all metal construction should last a long time.

I just finished installing this product to replace the handle that broke on my storm door. It seems to be a great replacement however there were a couple issues I wanted to let others know about when installing. 1) The screw holes in the handle parts have paint in them which can make it very difficult to get the screws in without stripping them. I recommend trying to clean out the holes before attempting to do so. I did this by just manually turning the screws before I started my install. Using an electric drill might result in stripping the screws so do so by hand. This will make it easier to install screws when you try to put on handle. 2) The instructions say you need to break the metal spindle to be the proper length based on the width of your door. The instructions are very clear on how to do so. I followed the directions and broke the spindle down to size using pliers. However when I tried to install the handle, I realized it would not work because the spindle was way too long. I remeasured and tried again. Still too long. Luckily I saved my old parts and compared the previous spindle. The old one was about 3/4 of an inch shorter. I used my old spindle and installed the new handle. It works perfectly. So I am not sure if the directions are wrong but the length it told me to use for the spindle was way off.

Great instructions and very easy to install. Seems like a nice quality handle set. I previously had a hook and eye latch for our door and had to ring the doorbell if the lock was engaged from the inside :) annoying! My husband asked me 'why didn't we do this sooner' ... I don't know, just glad it's done now!

We purchased this handle as a replacement and it fit in the same holes that were there already. The fit was perfect and the lock works as we had hoped. Great product!

Decent handle. Easy instructions and easy to install. I had the luxury of just replacing an older one so I was able to take it apart, see how it worked and then put this new one on. Major draw back for me is that the bracket that goes onto the frame to catch the locking mechanism when the door closes is very thin. I usually have to either slam the door shut (Don't want to do that) or hold the button in while I close it or else it won't catch. Bought a different one from Home Depot for the other side of my patio and that one was cheaper and the bracket was a lot better. Will buy that one again instead in the future.

My screen door handle broke from constant use. This provided everything I needed to replace it and works well.

This is a super easy inexpensive door handle. I added it to my back storm door. Less than ten minutes to remove the old one and install the new one

This handle replaced my broken one with no issues. It included screws for various door thicknesses which was great. It also had clasp choices to ensure the door closed securely. The installation took under 30 minutes. The price was fair and very good quality. Fully recommended.

Ordered this because the misogynistic oinker at my local hardware store so kindly told me I was not smart enough to measure my door and figure out which handle to buy and install and I should find a contractor.....This arrived in 2 days and even thought I'm just a woman I was able to install this in about 5 minutes flat. It looks great and is quite sturdy...I was shocked I was able to do it with out the necessary testicles but the instructions in the package made it simple enough even for those of us lacking the correct anatomy. Amazing!

Replaced my old unit easily.

I was able to restore my old storm door using this product. It fits perfectly and is well constructed. Easy to follow instructions.The latch fits several configurations and includes hardware for all.

Product was not as advertised. It said it would our storm doors thickness. It didn't. I had to MacGyver it with another kit to even use it.
