The best car camping chair. Full stop. I have the rest, now I have the best.
Brilliant chair, best combination of speed to erect and collapse, robustness, comfort, and small folded size. When you think about it, those are the factors that are most important for car camping and 4wd touring. We have light chairs that pack small and are comfortable, but they are fussy to erect so we don’t use them for quick stops. We have quick erect 3 legged stools that we were also carrying that we used for lunch stops etc. now we leave all other chairs behind and simply take 2 FrontRunner Expander Campiing Chairs with us wherever we go. They are the perfect height for relaxing or for eating dinner on your lap or off a table, low enough for comfort but high enough to get out of quickly (my wife has injured her leg and but can still get out of these chairs quickly). Highly recommended. Robustness means slightly heavier than you might expect, but it’s all steel and looks and feels like they’ll last a lifetime of happy camping, and now we travel with just 2 chairs not 4. It’d be nice if FrontRunner sold the cover with the chair as a package on Amazon.

Better than expected purchase!
We wanted A Pico chair, but they are no longer available. This chair is just as good and was a good value. The size when folded is great as it takes very little room. It will fit in our A-Frame camper as a chair with room around it so we don’t have to use the bench seats all the time. Easy to open and very comfortable. My husband is picky about camping chairs and he really likes this one. We also like the fact that it is compact to use and carry around.

Extremely durable and compact
Chairs are well manufactured and durable. Closes down to a portable size and includes a storage case. Perfect for a van life.

Sturdy, comfy chair
Going overloading for the next couple of years and needed a compact, sturdy chair. This is exactly what we were looking for. Folds up relatively easily and is super compact. I like the fact that this chair is very sturdy. I only gave it 4 stars because the chair is not light. But it folds up nicely and has a handle on top to easily carry. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bomber chair, packs small
I've had this chair for four years. I resisted getting a camp chair for decades. They take up too much room, they are cheaply built, and they make you soft...as opposed to sitting on a rock or firewood. But at 66 I decided I'd earned some luxury. This chair has been on hundreds of days of camping. It's been rained on, snowed on and baked under the sun at Indian Creek. It's been blown down, tossed in pickup trucks and generally abused by drunken climbers. My only complaint is that you need to be a rocket scientist to unfold it. It's like one of those rubics cubes. I've memorized the process now, but I'm always careful to unfold the chair before I break out the beers. I love that it folds up compact and is made from tough metal and thick plastic. I'm thinking of getting another one, my wife keeps stealing it.

LOVE IT - LOVE IT - LOVE IT
I bought one to try. WOW, light weight, very very fast to setup, pretty comfortable, and very very fast to close up. Loved it so much that I ordered a second one along with a bag for two and threw 4 other chairs away. LOVE IT!!!

Compact and ultra sturdy
I camp out of my Toyota 4Runner and space is a premium. I needed a comfortable director's chair that didn't take up a lot of room. This chair is perfect. I bought the carrying case also, two chairs fit nicely. The only tradeoff is the weight, this chair is not light. But its steel not aluminum, sturdy and very comfortable.

Not as comfortable as reviews state.
I bought this because of all the YouTube reviews/hype. Very disappointed, and I’m returning it. It’s a quality product re materials for the most part, but it’s not even as comfortable as a cheap sporting goods chair, commonly sold at a fraction of the price. Don’t believe the hype…. It’s made in China for a small woman or child. At 5’ 10” 200, I feel like I’m stuck in a child’s seat. If you are 5 10/190 plus, you will not be happy… You can only sit completely straight and upright, or you won’t fit. Not comfortable for lounging at all, and very over priced for lacking comfort, and being on the heavy side. It’s not even light weight. It doesn’t lock into place either. Every time you move the chair it breaks down and you need to re stabilize it. Not worth the price. Maybe if was half the price I would consider it, maybe.

I have a very thin space above my cab in my Jayco RM19. Finally found a full-sized camp chair that slides easily into that space. The folded chair is little more than 50 mm thick or 2 inches the old scale. It is super quick to fold and unfold made of metal, very strong, no way this is camping chair blowing away, weighs about 4 kilos but very easy to cart around with a handle. Overall it's about 40 cm by 40 cm by 5 cm roughly. It isn't real cheap but ultimately worth the money because it should last a long time. But then again most camp chairs are kind of around about that $100 mark anyway.

Una sedia robusta, esteticamente gradevole, si piega per occupare poco spazio e la puoi trasportare come una borsetta. Giudizio positivo, la consiglio.

The chair seems as though it would be sturdy except that it arrived with a part missing from one of seat braces. I requested a refund but had a very difficult time with the seller and my return was denied. The chair is extremely heavy. Not suitable for backpacking or even motorcycle camping.
