I have used my Nearpow T-319 timer to cycle continuously a recirculating-hot-water pump. The timer is set for a ten-percent duty cycle: 20 seconds on, 180 seconds off. It has worked flawlessly for six years. It has retained its settings through power outages. It can be programmed in hand and then placed into service. I am happy with it.The unit's instructions can be a tad challenging at first, especially when setting infinite-repeat intervals in seconds/minutes rather than minutes/hours. For seconds/minutes intervals the user manual saysPress and hold the Timing Circulate button for 3seconds and the top set of numbers will flash.The three-second hold is the key; otherwise the timer defaults to minutes/hours intervals. functions perfectly as described large display. easy to install plug and play. the timer feature works great can set 2 on/off timers for the day. the built in battery has worked fine over a few years just bought a second to expand my pond project due to fountain. The first one I bought has been running aerators for few seasons with no Issues what so ever set it and forget it.

This is a great timer it does so much, and pretty easy to use. It is a good solid timer, it feels like it is made very well. There are 3 modes on this timer, but I only use it to turn on at a certain time, and off at a certain time on one of my fish tank lights. It was fairly easy to set, thank goodness because the directions were not that hot, it does not describe all the options very well. I really like the large display on this unit, it really helps when your eyesight is failing. I also love that it has a built in battery. I am dissappointed it does not have a backlit display, that would have been awesome, and honestly, thats my only complaint. Under $15, great purchase!

I chewed up and spit out 3 timers before buying this one! They all failed within 6 months...just our of warranty of course! This timing is different in that it is electronic and the others were not. I thought the non-electronic ones would be better. I was wrong! This is a nice very unit. Very easy to program with the directions...that are written by someone who obviously speaks and writes in English. I can't speak for the Spanis part of the directions. The only thing I wasn't expecting, but really isn't a problem is that the timier only has a military time readout. In other words, if it is 6:00PM, the timiner will read 18:00 hours. Therefore I have to set it to shut off at midnight by programming for 23:59, which is 11:59PM, or it goes to the next day as 00:00 to start again.

The two pack timer outlet arrived on time and the price was right. They were easy to program and install. I am using them to turn on and off fans in a barn. So fat, they are working well.

I use these on hot water heater circulator loop for my house. Works flawlessly once you get it programmed.

Versatile timer. Can be set for a time of day (more than one) or other function. I use it as a repeat cycle timer for hydroponic pumps. E.g. minute on, three minutes off, repeat.

Someone said the display is upside down. WRONG. In the US, the proper electrical outlet configuration is: GROUND ON THE BOTTOM. If the electrician installed your outlets correctly, you will have NO problems.I want to thank the reviewer who prepared me for the fact this timer really takes up two places. You might as well install it in the lower socket because if you use the upper socket, there won't be enough room to plug anything into the lower socket. I have several outlets in each room so that's a small price to pay. But if you're planning on having this timer share an outlet with another plug, you can forget that. Ain't gonna happen.Someone said this timer is hard to program. Poppycock! Just for the fun of it, I've played with the timing configurations, including ones I'm not using. They ALL work. And they're all EASY to program.I like this timer SO much, after 8 hours of usage I ordered two more !!!NOW MY RECOMMENDATIONS:The one drawback of this timer is the lack of ability to program based on the day. I use this timer during the weekdays to cut power during the time of the day when the electric rates spike. However, on the weekends I have to manually reconfigure the timer to stay on during those periods. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to be able to set it and forget it.Another feature that would be nice would be the ability to program TWO different sets of intervals. Ex: For a certain portion of the day it would turn on and off every ten minutes. Then at another portion of the day it would turn on and off every hour.Of course, the thing is: people are ALREADY complaining this timer is too difficult to program (which it's NOT btw). So imagine the backlash if the manufacturers created an even MORE complex timer.ONE OTHER THING:I read a lot of reviews before I ordered this timer. And I was waiting with trepidation for this timer to arrive, expecting I was going to have a difficult experience getting it to work. So I have to tell you I was SHOCKED when I opened the instructions and saw how EASY they were to follow.Please DON'T believe the negative reviewers. This timer is a snap to use. I LOVE IT!
