I wore them on a trip, nonstop for 6 days straight through, on studs with indentations very close to the end of the stud. They do need a certain amount of stud after the indentation to sit rock steady, and the indentation is where they lock in place, but I habitually check my earrings and they never fell off. Comfortable to sleep in. Long fingernails may not be able to depress the tabs.

Perfect. I managed to lose an earring back while cleaning my earrings. These are a perfect replacement. They fit well and are comfortable. A little bigger in diameter than the original, but still works perfectly. They hold the earring great and I don’t fear losing the diamond stud.

Worthless don’t waste your money. I’ve already lost a diamond earrings. The ideal is to lock earrings not constantly having to check too see if their about to fall out.

I have lost many earring backings and didn't want that to happen with my new diamond studs. I have worn them for one month 24 hours a day and have never had these even come loose let alone fall off. The only down side to these is that you have to push in both tabs to get the backings on or off. Because these are small it is difficult for me to do. Again, once on they are great!

My wife has some diamond Costco earrings with a similar back (which were inscribed "585 PAT# 6557220" ) on them that she accidentally dropped one back down the drain. After searching the drain trap and coming up empty, we purchased these and they work. They are slightly larger than the Costco ones, but the post fits and locks securely. Will update the review if we have problems, but right now they work great.

I bought some of these for my wife, and both of us have made attempt at using them. But they do sit on her nightstand more often than not. Why? The spring tension on these is very high, and for something so small and so thin, it’s very easy for it to slip out of your grip and go flying in some direction. Tension needs to be lowered just a bit to make these usable, Or increase the center diameter so that if you can’t open them up all the way you can still get them far enough to easily slide over a pin.

Cheap quality. Doesn’t last a long time and the lock is releasing the earring easily.

The items themselves are quite good however they did not fit the earing posts. They were too small. Pity that I wasted my money.
