This works! We went on vacation for three weeks and no one brushed our cats while we were away (during spring/early summer shedding season). Both cats had mats when we got home. MUST HAVE!
Wow! Nicely constructed product for a VERY reasonable price. My dog has fine hair (like human hair) and it's longish (like a Setter)...so she constantly has knots and tangles. This product is PERFECT. It's not heavy and big like most dematting combs I've seen. I can use this product and my beautiful dog doesn't even flinch, in fact I think she likes it, as it removed a lot of loose hair, as well as the knots and tangles. In the Summer, it makes a huge difference to her comfort level. Just so happens that purple is MY favorite color....so both my dog and I are very happy about this product. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who grooms their own dog (or cat).....it's perfect!

Best comb ever
We have a long haired cat that gets nats at the base of her tail and sides. We have tried numerous brushes, Combs, etc., all the ones that are supposed to work wonders. Well, they didn't. We were considering getting her shaved because we didn't know what else to do. Tried this as a last ditch effort. So glad I did! She did pretty good letting me brush her. Definitely recommend this product.

It is so much nicer to shave off mats than yank them out with a regular comb. It works.
I like that Molly, our Morkie, sits quietly and I can comb through almost any tangle and shave through it by lifting and turning the comb part upward. She is a year old now and has stopped fighting a combing out with this tool. She hates the old brush/wire comb that just rips the tangles out. With care I can get under the matted hair with this comb, twist it upward and shave through the matting. No cutting out any matts out because this works.

Sharp works great
Bought this for my cat she is long hair and would get bad tangles been looking for something and tried other stuff but this cat wouldn't have it until I tried this on her and it works perfect I removed all the tangles now she is tangle free I would check and see if they have a right or left the one I bought felt like it was for a left handed that just made it harder to do but I got her done

Good for smaller animals
This product is designed well and easy to hold, but I had to return it because my 60lb Sheepadoodle's fur was just too thick for this cutter, the blade would get stuck and pop off when I tried to get down to his skin to cut up some matted fur. This would be much better suited for a smaller dog or a dog with straighter fur.

this comb detangles the most snarls on my cat
I have purchased several different kinds of brushes to detangle my cats fur and out of all of them this one does the best job. It doesn't get the close to the skin tangles and I wish someone would invent one that did because by the time you find a tangle it can be pretty close to their skin.

Safe Effective Tool For Removal of Matts from Cats
Best tool I have found for removal of thick matts that develop on my 7 cats in the Spring. Rounded tips prevent potential cuts. Much more effective than a deshedding tool and far less painful for the cats. Will never go back to those with straight pointed tips. Not good.
No instructions as how to use. It does not work. Once you get to a Matt it just gets caught. Not happy at all.
