I am new to using this kind of material with my beadwork and have discovered that there are “soft” and “hard” french coil wires. This one is very soft as it takes the stitches and doesn’t stay streamline like “hard” coil wire. My picture shows a comparison between hard (in black, from a different company) and soft (in silver from this seller).

The selection of color and size is tremendous. I am shocked by the price and quality of this bouillon.This is a great investment for a beginner, but also a fabulous purchase for the seasoned embroiderer.Priced out one by one , one will easily pay over $100.00 for this assortment. Do not hesitate. This is well worth the price.

The actual zardosi is pretty cool, but I bought this thinking it would be dark gold but I got a light gold :/

Very delicate wire but easy to work with.Used it in gold embroidery to fill in empty spaces between crystals and beads.The only thing I wish the packaging was better than a plastic bag. Yards of wire got smashed during shipping and can’t be used.

Beautifully silky coils, very shimmery! This dabka is somewhere between a French wire and a bullion and it's very tightly coiled, and good quality finish to the metal. You definitely get the amount stated in the description, but the pieces vary in length. Very few pulls and kinks in my batch.

The thickness is a little thinner than 1mm, I would say 0.7 or 0.8mm. When stretched before sewing it comes back a little to original which make it easier to get the exact stretch that I want without going too much. It's really good quality compared to the other ones I got a little thicker...the wire itself is thick enough to stay round without unraveling more when is sewn. I highly recommend this product
