Exactly what I needed to repair my scissors
I ordered the multipack of large springs, which fit knives over 3 inches long (closed). I watched 2 quick YouTube videos to see how best to get the old one out and the new one in. I used a pair of needle-nosed pliers to do the job, and I had my new spring installed in less than 2 minutes. The spring seems to line up just right, and my scissors work perfectly again. My knife is over 30 years old and has a lot of sentimental value, so I was really happy to be able to repair it so easily and affordably.

Work Great for Pliers, Too
Worked great for pliers on Victorinox CyberTool 34M.These look like the standard Victorinox pliers. They measure 7/8" from center of fulcrum (pivot point) to tip of jaws, and 2" from fulcrum to end of plier handle.

The spring is the thing
So glad to have my scissors operational again. Hated that I waited so long for this inexpensive and easy fix. Old broken spring was easy to remove, and the new spring almost as easy to replace.

Worked for my very old knife
My scissors are about 2 3/4 inches long.I watched a video on how to remove the broken one and install the new one.I thought I wouldn't be able to force the loop in the hole since it looked too big, but I got it in there. Don't be shy about using force since you have spare springs.

This might not be an exact fit....
There is a youtube video that shows how to install this spring. However, the loop that is supposed to fit into the hole of the scissor base might not fit older knives. Mine is a 37 year old Swiss Army Champion and try as I might, it was not going to fit. The loop is too large. I tried tightening the loop a little more but that didn't work. The loop eventually broke leaving just enough of an arc to insert into the hole. I inserted a shirt pin through the hole, added a dab of Shoe Goo and pulled out the pin, wiped off the excess and let it cure 24 hours. It cured in perfect alignment and so far has stayed together. It was worth the extra trouble to get it to work as now the scissors work perfectly and anybody else using the knife would probably never notice. Five stars for the outcome, but 2 stars for the lack of fit. Four stars is 3 1/2 rounded up.

Just What I Needed For My Swiss Champ and Climber Swiss Army Knives
A great product at a great price. This is something you don't know you need until your springs break on your scissors. Removal is with pliers and is pretty straight forward. The installation is a little more tricky. You have to hold the spring loop over the space it goes it while pressing it in with pliers. If you have a friend with a steady hand this can help a lot.

Not for older knifes
This is made for the newer knifes that have a groove on the scissors. Will not sit right on the older ones. The material is thicker than the original one. Did not work for me.

Large Springs 6 Pack (Victorinox Item # 38410) Give Life To Older & Newer 91mm Victorinox Knife Scissors
These Large Springs (6-Pack Item # 38410) gave life to my old & newer Victorinox 91mm knife scissors.Models I replaced tweezers on:Huntsman BSA - 20yr oldHuntsman - 15yr oldCyberTool 34 - 6yr oldHandyman - 3yr oldSwissChamp XLT - 2yr oldI replaced the springs on all of my knives scissors (needed or not). They fit perfect, even with the wide range of age on knives. In fact they seem to fit better than the original.I used a pair of vise grips to install, wiggle spring a little while pressing, to get it to set, being careful not to bend anything while doing it. Had to use a small drill bit to tap spring in, to center it on the older knives. What I Have Purchased or Will Purchase For My Knives:(I was having trouble figuring out what I need at first, hope this helps someone)Victorinox Item # 30416 - Single Large TweezerVictorinox Item # 30422 - Ballpoint Pen - Blue InkVictorinox Item # 38410 - Large Springs 6 PackVictorinox Item # 38414 - Large Toothpick 6 PackVictorinox Item # 30543 - Cybertool Bit - 4mm Flat head / #2 Phillips BitVictorinox Item # 30546 - Cybertool Bit - #0 / #1 Pozidrive Bit
