Just Okay
I wasn’t expecting too much for the low price but was pleasantly surprised at the case they came in and the look and feel of the scissor set. That being said, the regular scissors seem to work well and I appreciate the bowed shape to help get closer. The thinners seem to pull. They do cut but my pup didn’t really appreciate the pull and I had to resort more to the scissors which I was hoping not to have to use so much. But for the cost I can’t complain too much. But I really purchased for the thinners (probably not the right wording) because I wanted to thin down around his eyes vs cutting evenly around.

These had good reviews
My dog has very fine hair and the thinning shears more or less grab and pull the hair more than a good clean cut. The curved shears are fine and cut well around the face and back of legs. I have small hands and the shears still kind of pinch so I don't think they would suit someone with chunkier fingers.

Read before buying.
I used thinning shears twice and they didn't cut anymore. They were never dropped or damaged so I don't know why they don't cut properly. The curved scissors are for lefties and not a righty so I can't even use them.

Cuts hair
Got this set for my long hair cat to remediate some matting. The kit seems well made, better than I expected for a cheap imported product. The comb slides through hair and removes a surprising amount. It does not catch on every small matt however. The scissors are a mixed bag in terms of results. I like that you can adjust how tight they are. That's something I haven't experienced. However, since the blades are curved, something about this design or manufacturer lends to it binding during the stroke. I thought I was trying to cut through the comb at first. Doesn't seem to do it every time so I don't know what was up.I haven't had cause to use the thinning shear yet. No idea how that will work.

Great value for $13
I have been searching for the rounded scissors forever! I have a Shih-Tzu and his facial hair grows super fast so I like to trim it every couple weeks so his hair does not cover his eyes. These scissors are so easy to use. Much better than straight grooming scissors! I love when his face looks rounded and these are perfect!!! I also love the case it’s super handy to keep the grooming tools stored away. Would definitely recommend!
