Very Pleased
I was very pleased with the paint. It was easy to mix and apply. It dried and cured pretty quickly as well. We live in a somewhat humid environment, so I was impressed with how quickly we were able to refill the pool.

I love the color!
Update: It has been two years since my project and it still looks great. No peeling or paint coming off. The color has not lightened and I only used one coat. Just take your time and use an adequate amount on the section you are painting. I don't believe a second coat is recommended. It's not regular paint I love the color. I chose dark blue. As you can see it is not what we normally think of as dark blue. It is bright and very glossy. I finished painting yesterday and now waiting for it to cure. It's more like glossy smurf blue or deep Caribbean blue. A true test would be once the water is in and time. I bought 3 gallons of primer but didn't have enough. I bought 4 gallons of paint and have one gallon left over... I don't know how that is. I'm hoping the paint will stay on the parts of the steps that didn't get a prime coat. I don't see why it wouldn't. There are tiny pores in the cement to grab onto it. I purchased holographic grout glitter to sprinkle on the paint after painting for added sparkle.

Great look
First, I want to thank everyone who has ever written a review (good or bad) for the products I used for this project. This product worked great and I am happy with the finished result. I followed each step meticulously and took my time to be thorough. I recommend 2 people for the DYI ers. TSP wash, pressure wash. muriatic acid wash with Biodex, TSP wash again. I primed the surface even though it was not required. I ensured all loose paint was gone before priming. The instructions for mixing the epoxy is specific. Read the label and follow the directions based on the temperature outside. I did one coat and a second spot coat in a few areas I did not cover well with the first coat. I allowed up to 10 days to dry. We had a few overnight rain falls. Invest in a wet/dry vac to keep the surface in the deep end as dry as possible if it rains. Take out your hydrostatic plugs if you can. I was able to take one out and constantly checked the USGS website for ground water table levels in my area. Please be safe when using all products. Use protective clothing, respirator mask, rubber boots and gloves during your process. In the Swim has a great blog on their website to help you do your research and planning for a project like this. The color is "Pool Blue" not "Dark Blue". I only had one can of Dark Blue at the time and it was out of stock. The "Pool Blue" worked out great. Lastly, you must put an additive or sand on the steps during the priming/painting stage to ensure roughness. Make sure you add it evenly. I added two packs way more than what was advised. Your pool steps will be slick if you don't do this. I appreciate every YouTube video, blog, and review that helped educate me to complete this job.

Looks good, but epoxy paint is no fun.
I have a 25-year-old gunite pool, which was in rough shape. I chose epoxy paint, (and primer), hoping it would fill in/cover up the pool's imperfections. It did, but it took a great deal of time and effort, and it wasn't cheap. If you've never used epoxy paint, visualize 3 quarts of high gloss paint, mixed with a quart of model glue. It's heavy, thick, and difficult to work with. I did not even try to clean the rollers, brushes, gloves, clothes, I just tossed them. If you're not a professional, you will end up with drips, and areas that don't quite match. Don't worry about it, there not visible when the pool is filled. My advice: take your time; follow the instructions religiously; use a drill with mixer attachment; watch the weather, (if it rains or if the temperature falls below 50 before the paint has cured, you're screwed); if you have a gunite pool and you think it might need 2 coats, consider using gunite primer, it's $50 less a gallon; once the paint has started to dry don't try to fix imperfections, you'll just make them worse; tape carefully, once epoxy paint has dried, it's near impossible to remove; make sure the pool surface is completely dry, if not the paint won't stick; and if you have any questions, call the company, they will help you out. Good luck.

Color is off
I purchased 6 cans of dark blue on Walmart and needed one more can for touch up. Purchased on Amazon. This can has a slight different hue then the other cans. I now have to repaint my entire 33,000 gallon pool. In the swim refused to even refund me even just for the 1 can with a different hue. Very disappointed.

Works amazing
Beautiful color I have used this paint before and will be using it again 3 days to cure. It lasts about 3 years with minor chipping after the second year but i 100% recommend this product just be careful applying.
