I have been using it for three years with my Spektrum DX6 transmitter and have had no problems. I would assume if you are using on RC transmitter, it is strong enough.

Q: Are you suppose to connect the string of the quick disconnect to the transmitter or the large metal clip?

Use the metal clip is is morre secure you never want to risk the radio accidently falling use the plastic clip to hand is tag with your contact info

Q: Is there an explanation somewhere for how this thing should be rigged? Mine came apart by itself, and I haven't found a good image for how to redo.
