I was really impressed with how quickly this book arrived. Straight to the point, no fluff, these strategies really work. The questions are designed just like the real exam, and the engaging content kept me motivated to keep practicing. A good investment for anyone looking to boost their confidence and exam readiness

Very happy with my purchase! My mother tongue is English, but I needed to pass an IELTS test as proof. I did not know the format of the test, and booked it only 3 weeks in advance. I bought this book and the exercise book to get an idea what to expect, and I am so glad that I did! The IELTS is actually somewhat complicated, and a lot of technique is necessary to do well on the test, and this book provided everything I needed. It’s a great crash course! Very happy with my purchase, and I received my 8.5 result in the post today. I certainly would not have done as well without this book.

The book is excellent throughout. It goes into depth on each section of the test and how to approach the sometimes difficult tasks. It gives clear overviews of each part, strategies of how to approach each task and tips on how to improve scores. It would be best accompanied by a practice test book (available from the same author). The book could be used by the self-study student, but would probably be best utilised by a teacher/tutor to guide his/her students.
