Functional and better for the environment
Love these food storage bags. Compostable, resealable and durable to send to school for my daughters lunch! No issues with leaks or tears. And best of all, they are compostable and better for the environment.

So far, so great!
Sturdy, quality bag made out of plant starch. Sometimes bags like this loose sturdiness over time, but I haven't had them long enough to know. They have to be composted in a facility than can handle these types of bags, but i also think they are still better than using plastic even if in landfill? Maybe i'm wrong, will do more research, just trying to use less plastic all around!

Not easy to open
Ease of opening is a problem, difficult and sometimes it just tears open, which makes it impossible to reseal.

zip tops seal very well, environmentally better
I am replacing these bags with the usual "sandwich" type bags that are not compostable and finding that these bags seal much better zipper closure for short term storage in the refrigerator as I go along on a daily basis, plus I feel better that I can cut off the tops and know that when I throw them away in everyday trash that the bags will eventually decompose. It helps me feel like maybe someday this environmentally friendly little attempt will help with our future earth

These are great!
They work very well in the fridge or on the pantry shelf to keep products fresh. I have not yet tried freezing food. They remain pliable when refrigerated, unlike plastic.

These bags are great! Will buy again

Difficult to open and not sturdy
Love they are eco friendly but trying other brands. As they are a few months in my drawer they are increasingly difficult to open at the zip. I am cutting off the zip at this point to just use a clip or twist tie. Also they fall apart from the freezer…which makes sense as they are made from natural fibers and that doesn’t bother me as much.
