Awesome mugs, BUT one came broken, and there was instructions to email them and they would replace for free with a picture, sent two emails with picture of one broken and no response.....

I've searched for years for the "perfect" tea mug - the right size, the right shape, beautiful color and not cheaply made. I had never heard of Sweese before, and their website does not show a lot of different items. When I received my set of these Sweese mugs, I could have been happier. Sweese clearly focuses on quality and they have their own distinct style, which you will either love or not. They are dense (not heavy), the glazing and coloring is artful, and maybe most of all, the styling is beautiful. They really feel good in my hand. These mugs will provide me with simple pleasure for quite a long time. I wish I had more room in my cabinet for more colors.

I might be nutty, but coffee mugs. for me, are a big deal. Good coffee is good but in a good mug it's better. I probably overthought this but here goes ...Been using these every day since they arrived.Aesthetically they're wonderful. I got orange with the white interior. Color is great, rich; the differentiation between the color and the white is precise enough to be clear but smooth.Retains both heat and cold well. Great for morning coffee as well as midnight milk and cookies.Nice and wide at the top without being so thin at the bottom that it's unstable. Perfect size. I'm a fairly big guy and this is the size I always thought a normal coffee cup should be, if that makes sense -- holds an actual cup of coffee, not a 4- or 5-sip teaser. The handle is a decent size; it tapers in toward the bottom so if you're one of those people who likes to held your mug in a kung-fu grip you're out of luck unless you have really small hands.Nice weight, not heavy but substantial. They feel durable enough, though to be fair I might still be being "careful" when they're in the sink with other dishes and stuff, just because they're fairly new and I'm enamored with them.I rarely do 5-star reviews, just because something has to be outstanding, IMO. These are outstanding -- qualified by the fact that I got a set of 4 for $23 shipped.I can't tell you how much I would pay for them because I don't know that I would pay a whole lot for nice coffee mugs, because they are, after all, just coffee mugs. But I'm more than happy having paid only that for mugs like these.Told you I overthought it.

I love them but one arrived broke. I would love to be replaced.Edit : two of them are broke, one has the handle ready to go.

These 16 ounce mugs are perfect for my morning coffee. The steel blue is a very nice color. I am displaying them on a rack next to my coffee maker and the color adds a special touch to the kitchen. The mugs are comfortable in my small hands with a strong, wide handle and the mug holds a good size cup of coffee and the addition of my cream. I am very satisfied with this product and recommend to anyone. They come out of the dishwasher sparkling. Best mug ever! Customer service is prompt and accommodating.

I love the red color with the white contrast inside of the cups. The size though is a bit big for coffee cups. Maybe 12oz would have been a better choice. I use my Keurig every morning, set to the "large cup" setting, and even that won't fill these cups up all the way. Maybe I am being a little overly critical, but I would have given 5 stars if the cups were a little smaller.

The first set of mugs I ordered were various colors. My husband’s favorite was the Navy and mine was the steel blue. My husband accidentally broke his and began using the white one. I eventually searched Amazon for a replacement and found Sweese was selling a set of four in Navy blue and bought them. A few months later I bought a second set in steel blue. We love them! They have a nice thin rim which makes it comfortable and easy for my husband to drink from. I’ve also been eyeing their other products to go with my blue and white dishes. Thanks Sweese for making such attractive and sturdy mugs!
