This is one of the best suction-mounted phone holders out there! It sticks to the surface by more than just suction - the suctions is actually sticky which assists in holding the mount in place. But, that's also why I took one star off. Once removed, it leaves a sticky residue on the surface that you mounted it on, which is difficult to remove even using Goo-Gone. Having said that, it's really a great holder. My phone feels very secure in it, and it can be adjusted and stays in place once adjusted. My first one came from $5Below and lasted several years in my car. When the spring that clamps to the phone finally broke, I just ordered a replacement one from Amazon. Glad I could find it here!

I love it and highly recommend it. This is actually the second one I have. I left the first one in a rental car :/ But loved it enough to buy it again rather than testing a second.Now a con (only 1!), and the reason I gave it 4 stars. I place this on the dashboard of my Nissan Versa, and on hot days when my windshield is facing direct sunlight, it will fall off the dashboard. However I usually use a windshield sun shade anyways, so of anything this helps me remember to put it on. That said, I've also taken road trips where my windshield is in direct sunlight for hours, and my phone is in the holder, and it's never fallen off the dashboard. So why when it is only parked? No clue. But I'd rather it fall without the phone than with the phone. And on that note, it's never fallen off ONCE with my phone inside.

I have one of these I bought years and years ago and it's still going strong. My wife has gone through 3 or 4 different windshield mounts from various sources and they all have problems -- fall off the windshield, phone vibrating, broken plastic pieces, etc. I finally found this one online (not sure where I got my original one) and bought it for her; no problems since! It attaches to the windshield perfectly and holds various phones very securely. There's a rubber/foam insert so no risk of scratching your phone. Strongly recommend.

Great bracket. I received the first one as a gift for Christmas and liked it so much that I picked up another for our second car. We mounted it right below the rear view mirror and find that it is easy to view yet does not cause a noticeable obstruction. It has it sticky base that holds very well yet comes off without leaving any residue. The part that grips the phone is very tight and you will most likely need 2 hands to get the phone in the grip. I've had it on the windshield for almost a month and it has not fallen off. I guess we'll see how it survives during the summer heat and sun.

Convenient until it fell off my window... now I can’t get it to stick at all. Once you get it in a set place do not move it, I moved it One time after I stuck it on my window. Not sure if that’s why or not. However I have one of my company vehicle that I also moved and it stays put... Not sure if I just got a faulty One or not

If it's fairly flat, this will stick and stay put. I'm surprised at the way it holds to a rough surface in my Jeep. Usually, you expect to need an almost glass like smooth spot to suction something like this onto-but not this one. Even in Texas summer heat, its still hangs on tight and holds my Note 8 firmly without fail. A great buy if you need a phone mount in a place where others won't stick.

Best phone mount second time purchase

This is really the one I am looking for my vehicle, I have tried many different phone holder but this might be the one I stick to it. It holds my iphone X tight the inner part of the clamp is rubberized that makes it hold tight, it swivels in any direction, i can reach my phone conveniently and can browse and do some work when needed without loosing my sight on the road. If you notice I stick it into my navigation display and have no issues except blocking the menus but doesnt matter to me as I have no use of it except backup camera, I can control other things from my steering wheel menus like calls, musics. I can also move to my windshield but a bit farther and I dont want to add burden to it.With regards to durability, I cannot make comment now as I have just started using and most of the phone holder I used has issue from the part where it swivels they tend to break specially during winter in extreme weather condition as I I always left it in my car, hoping this will not do the same.

Very happy with this device. I have had it about two years. The suction cup come loose about one a year, which is pretty good considering the textured dashboard and the temperature swings from winter to summer.

There's even a clip so you can snap the wire which is nice :)It leaved a sticky surface as many others holders. I haven't found many unsticky suction cups that works well.

Grips tightly, adheres easily to dash. Can't ask for anything more!
