Fair introduction to using resistance bands
Bought this to get my son and I started on using resistance bands. Half the book is taken up with an introduction to bands and planning exercise routines. The second part gives details of the exercises and how to perform them. my main complaint is that some of the illustrations are not consistent with the descriptions, however you can generally work out what is intended. Overall I think the band manufacturers instructions are probably sufficient for my needs.

75 pages 13 of them are blank. Another 10 only have 1 sentence on them. 5 pages are about the author and the other books he has written.3 pages are about how to go for a run and a further 7 pages are telling how to write down how many reps you have done.The book contains 21 examples of resistance band training 3 of which are combinations of the other ones.I only went for this book because Waterstones didn’t have any books on resistance band training at least there you can browse first to see if it’s worth buying.

Excellent
This was the first book by James Atkinson that I bought. I had been looking around for a safer method of training being a senior. I had heard about resistance bands and decided to give them a try. That was when I started looking for 'how to' books to assist in my training. I perused a lot of books on Kindle but was having a problem finding one that helped me. That was when I discovered this book. It explains in great detail how the exercises should be done for maximum effect. It also gives variations including for seniors. The illustrations are excellent showing exactly which muscles are being trained. Recommended workouts are presented too in case you don't want to put together your own workout. It plans or shows you how to plan your training for subsequent sessions. It is well written and easier to understand than many other books covering the subject. Thoroughly recommend. After this book I purchased 4 other books from the same author and have been highly satisfied.
