This one is thicker and sturdier than those I've had in the past and my chair wheels don't sink into it on the medium pile carpet in my office. After just a few days of use I can tell it's MUCH better and my chair glides of it like I was on a hard surface floor. Even though it cost a bit more than many chair mats, I'm very pleased with this one.

The Mat works well on carpet and looks great. My only concern is the mat is not thick enough. After sitting in one location for a few minutes, the chair wheels makes dents in the mat and is hard to move the chair. The indents do come out but is annoying.

Got this to put under my office chair that I use when I am sewing. Much easier to pick up dropped straight pins than when they land on carpet. Also makes moving my chair around much easier.

Disappointed with how long it lasted. Shipped rolled up and was annoying to get flat.

1. It arrives tightly coiled up. It is very hard to get it flat even with using heat and heavy books to try to flatten it out. I never got the edges fully flat which is also annoying when trying to lay it out on carpet. They need to ship it in a flat box which might be more of a shipping pain, but will give the customer much less pain when received.2. Since I didnt get it totally flat, when trying to lay it out on carpet the edges would grab the carpet and rip up threads. Also the treads are very sharp and cut me while trying to flatten it, and also are too sharp when using on carpet, which is literally the purpose of having treads... They need to be sanded down. Also, the piece of plastic was cut randomly so some treads are on the very edge of the piece, some cut in half making them even more sharp and hard to deal with.3. Cracks are already forming after 6 months of daily use. Not worth the money for what I'm assuming will be roughly 1 year of use before it is too cracked and degraded.Would not recommend.

We have a Shag carpet and couldn't Find a Shag Carpet chair mat so tried to find a sturdy one that wouldn't waiver much. At 160lbs, I can still slide around easy in my chair. Recommend!

This thing was damn near impossible to unroll. I had to leave it in the sun for hours, unrolling it inch by inch and weighing it down with heavy pots to keep it from rolling back up on itself, all the while jabbing myself on the spiked underside.The finished product is scratched and warped. A heat guy may have saved me some trouble but considering the size & thickness it probably would’ve taken 2-3

Good product... Works as advertised... My only gripe is that since it's shipped in a box, it's rolled up and trying to get it to lay flat again is a pain. Note to the wise... be very careful unrolling this mat. the Teeth on the bottom are super sharp and will cut your fingers/hands up.

Bought it for home office to protect carpet but after just over a year it started cracking and by 18 months it was so badly cracked you couldn't roll on it and I had to bin it - a waste of money (and plastic)

This mat is very difficult to unroll even by two people. Pricks on the bottom side are very hard and sharp: even with garden gloves I got a few deep scratches.

Numbers are starting to come off, a little disappointing, this might be a key element of the product....!
