Has anyone compared the performance of this against a Chilldex?

I received a Chilldex 2.0 just a couple weeks ago, and the Kiwi blows it away. The Kiwi moves way more air through the HMD, and it's sorta obvious based on its design that it is less constrained in the volume of air it can move because it isn't limited to what can fit inside the frunk. Worse yet, when I first switched on the Chilldex, it made a horrendously loud rattling noise that got much louder when moving the HMD. The Kiwi may be noticeable when playing games at low volume but I use it in sim racing where it is inaudible next to engine noise; still, it is a faint whir that doesn't turn to a rattle in any circumstances, so it is far better than even the "upgraded" version of the Chilldex.

whats the size of the fans? is it possible to replace the fans without destroying the radiator frame?

Yes I replaced mine with higher quality ones. They are 35x10mm fans 5v

how much do the fans weigh and is the weight noticeable at all?

Maybe an ounce or two and no. I cannot discern any increase in weight when I put the headset on when the fan is in.

Can the fans be heard over the mic by others during multi-player games?

Nope. If you are talking very quiet and you mic is up loud then maybe but normal talking nope and doesn’t activate the mic either.
