This Stove Cover Protector for electric glass cooktop stoves is absolutely the best protection you can find for keeping pets safe from burning their pads on a hot stovetop. It works. I put it on the stovetop within a few minutes of turning off the heat and it does great. If one of my cats should jump up and land on this cover, they would feel the warmth of the stove below, but not burn their pads. This is a priceless tool to have to keep your jumping pets and small children away from a hot stove. I love it.

One day, my kitchen tiles over the upper cabinets (installed by some incompetant) EXPLODED down over by /on the stove. So when I bought a new glasstop stove I was happy to find this. It looks professional, gives you another surface and peace of mind. I did cover this up with the silver quilted padded one which I bought first but was slightly too small but the combo is excellent. I APPRECIATE that the size is EXACTLY what they said, and fits my top perfectly which would drive me nuts if it didn't.

Wanted to protect our new range top from inadvertently being damaged. This cover does the job. We love it.

I cannot comment on the heat resistence of this product as that it not what I bought it for. I bought this product to cover a glass stovetop that is in a center island in my kitchen. The island is a drop spot for just about anything that comes through the door. So I bought this to protect the stovetop. It works beautifully for the purpose of protection HOWEVER it mars very easily. Anything that is set on it can leave a lasting mark up. For instance, there are rings on it from both hot and cold glassware. I set a silcone drainer pad on it so I could let a couple of dishes dry. Now it has striations on it left by the drainer pad. So in my opinion it is of very poor quality and that's why I gave it 3 stars.

It is so nice not to have to spend time cleaning the glass. And it protects it from scratches..

I woke up every morning to cat prints on my cooktop. So every morning I was disinfecting and cleaning said cooktop. This cover keeps those nasty cat paws from my cooking surface, is easy to clean (with a Clorox wipe) and looks great. If only those cats would sleep at night.

Impossible to keep clean. If you roll it to one side of the stove for using one burner, it picks up very minute particles. Then when ready to roll it back over the cleaned part of the stove after use, the particles are deposited on the just-cleaned stovetop. It is too heavy and awkward to remove as a flat piece, at least by me in my kitchen. Finding somewhere to lay it so I won't have to reclean BOTH sides before replacing on stove is impossible. It creates so much more work. I may just cut it into more manageable pieces to use as a cushion for things that I hesitate to set on the stovetop. Those pieces can fit vertically with cookie sheets, etc. Good idea, but not there yet!

I like the way this protects our ceramic stove and gives us more counter space.

It comes folded and the creases do not come out so it does not lay flat.
