Surprised at how great this costume was! Quality better than expected and took a reviewer’s advice to ‘stuff’ with tissue paper for extra roundness! Was a hit at Halloween party and super comfy all night. Paired it with black leggings, sneakers and black shirt. Only thing is head-hole is small and a little hard to get on and off, and didn’t use headpiece after all - used a dollar store bee headband instead!

Es un buen disfraz para sacarte de un apuro. No es para concurso. Se ve mejor si rellenas la panza con algún material. Por el precio que pague se me hizo perfecto.

This costume is absolutely adorable and much, much better quality than I expected for the price. I looked at some similar costumes in a local Halloween shop just days earlier and they were not even half as nice as this one. The fabric is a little stiff which is a good thing to help the bee body keep its shape, but it's actually a soft felt like fabric and does not feel cheap. The wings don't stand up much on their own but that is not a problem at all, it still looks very cute. After reading some other reviews, I was a little concerned about the antennae not standing up on their own but they really do, and they have a wire inside so they're bendable and seem like they'll hold shape VERY well even though they don't stick straight up in the air, it actually looks better that way to me. I ordered the Standard size and I'm glad I did because I really feel this costume runs large. I would not have been happy with anything larger. I am not a small person, at 5'8" and size 10 pant, M/L women's top, but I think even in the past when I wore a plus size top this Standard costume would have fit me just fine. At my height though I'll definitely be wearing some black skinnies or at least thick opaque leggings with it. I picked up a cheap black turtleneck at a thrift store and the overall effect is awesome. I have a somewhat large head & very thick hair, and the cap with antennae fits super well, but the fabric seems like it would fit well on anyone (smaller head, big hair, whatever). I highly recommend this costume for male or female wanting to dress up like a bumblebee. It would be WAY too big for a child though.
