Super Soft Burgundy Wine Red Plush Sherpa Borrego Blanket Throw Queen or Full Size Bed

Hi there! I'm a "spoonie" - chronic pain is a way of life for me. I'll confess to being a quilt person and a bit sceptical about this blanket's supposed softness, light weight, and warmth. How can one blanket offer so much AND BE PURPLE?!?Well, it's all true! This blanket is exceptionally soft and plush, unbelievably light weight, and cuddly warm. It's amazing, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's even Tucker Phillip (my overly picky service dog) approved for cuddliness. The blanket is quite large enough for my double bed and would work on a queen sized bed as well - just as advertised.I'm so pleased with this product, it will become my go to house warming, wedding, and any other occasion present.Order. I ordered this blanket because it looked very cozy and fluffy! My mom used to swath me in a fuzzy homemade quilt with a piece of it touching my cheek to help me fall asleep. Thirty-Two years later, I still do the same exact thing. I love pulling a soft and fuzzy blanket up to my face to help lull me to sleep.Upon arrival, I couldn't believe how soft it was! I was blown away!!! I couldn't keep myself from petting repeatedly. My husband finally said, "Do I need to give you a moment?" Rude, but I get the point that I was probably looking like a weirdo petting a fuzzy blanket.This blanket could easily sell for twice the price it is currently running for. It looks very high-class.I decided when I pulled it out of the package yesterday that everyone is getting one of these as Christmas presents. It will make the perfect gift for any occasion!I will update my review when I wash it and see how it holds up.

Girl lemme tell you, this blanket is ruining my relationship it's so comfy. I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas present and not only did he throw out his old blanket he's been cacooning in this blanket every night since I bought it for him. He won't even come see me because he's too busy napping in his blanket. He texting me all like "you come here this blanket too comfy too leave" boy. Anyway, he right though, I be coming over for the blanket not his ungrateful ass. Moral of the story buy this blanket.

This is an exceptionally soft blanket. I was looking for a summer, light weight blanket. The Sleep Dr. says 68 degrees is perfect sleeping temperature and I agree. I keep my bedroom, portable AC at 68. I tend to throw this off of me, when I first go to bed, as I am nearly always hot! However, by early morning, I tend to pull it up over me as it gets a little chilly. Living in New Mexico, the nights tend to get cooler as it gets later (or earlier).The blanket is two ply. The outer is a more smooth, pretty coral pink color and the inner is the soft, cream color, faux fur. Very soft. The photograph is accurate. It is the softest feeling fur! For this type of poly fabric, it is higher quality. More plush than most and one of the better, poly blankets, I have seen. The two layers of fabric are only stitched (and over-stitched) together, only at the side edges, which I like. They are not stitched together in any other way, thus, my little dogs love sleeping on it! They can scratch and make up their sleeping areas since the fabric is ‘moldable', not being stitched together. Those of you who have little dogs, who 'make their beds', will know what I mean! They like the faux fur side best to sleep on. I like the feel of that side best, as well! I thought of getting rid of the top sheet, so I can feel the softness of the faux fur, but decided against it. Need that sheet only, to cover me, in case I get hot under blanket and have to throw it off.I normally have used cotton blankets and still use only 100% cotton sheets. I found that cotton blankets are too heavy on me. I cannot stand the weight of blankets, on me. This feels so light, which I like.My blanket gets washed at least, weekly and holds up beautifully. It is still just as soft and looks about the same as new. I do use a fabric softener in wash. I ordered the queen size. When searching for the right size, I found most were smaller than this one. This is an ample size and covers my bed well with some hang over the side. It is plenty large.This blanket will be perfect for me, in the winter, more so than summer. Again, I like warmth but not weight and this is perfect for that. I wish it were possible to have a blanket like this, but even lighter weight for summer. With the two ply fabric though, don’t know if that is possible. Am going to get one for my Mom. She has Alzheimers and is in special home for that. She is always cold and think with this blanket, she won’t be. It will be perfect for her! For me, for summer , I will use it for now and keep an eye out for a quality, lighter weight summer cover. Sorry dogs! If you are not hot all the time, this should work great for you, even in the summer.The price on this blanket is good for this quality. I would highly recommend it.Like just about everything else I see, it is “Made in China”. Nothing against them. Our fault, for 'out sourcing' so much to them, instead of manufacturing most things in our own country, as we used to. We have helped them prosper… now we are struggling. Seems we have lost our ability to manufacture. Probably too late to change it now. I find this sad. I still look for “Made in the USA” tags every now and then and try to buy those when possible.

I purchased this blanket in King because my wife and I didn't really have anything that we could both fit under when it was too warm for the comforter. The blanket very soft and luxurious feeling, and if we aren't careful, it tends to disappear into other bedrooms haha. It has quickly become a must have item on christmas lists for anyone in the house that doesn't already have one.I would absolutely recommend this product!Edit: it's been over a year and this thing has gotten so much use!! It's the favorite of our blanket collection, it's still in great condition and I'm considering buying a few more so we always have 2 clean when guests stay over.

Oh my GOODNESS I love this thing!!!It is extremely soft on BOTH sides of the blanket. Very cozy and very warm!Beautiful color--exactly the same color as in the picture (which doesn't always ring true, yeah?).It had a funny "factory" smell when I took it out of the packaging but one wash and the smell was gone. You DO have to be careful not to snag the topside (purple side) of the blanket as it snags very easily--my cat decided to flex her claws on it when I first pulled it out which resulted in two small snags in the material.

We have a houseful of guests coming and will need to use an air mattress. Realizing we had not enough blankets for all the beds, I ordered this because it was on Prime and priced well. I also wanted a sherpa side so this ticked off all my wish list items. It arrived today and was very well packaged, the dark grey color is really pretty and true to the internet picture. It is lighter weight, but very soft and because of the two layers, very warm and cozy. I actually prefer a lighter weigh, so long as it provides decent warmth. I can see myself stealing this away from a guest.
