Works great on fabric and faux suede.
I had bought a pair of shoes, and a bottle of paint, to chane color to pewter and thank God that was the idea, as when the shoes arrived, my foot so wide the velcro was sticking out like a sore thumb. Once painted, it fixed the issue and I now have a customized original (2 originals actually). If you want less pewter color, maybe a bit lighter just pass a paper towel over it to rub some off, or if a bit distressed is what you are going for, with damp paper towel wipe off a bit.

It goes on smoothly.
I bought it to paint a pair of shoes and the coverage was excellent. The colour just right.

Saved my sole
I had a pair of expensive sandals where all the leather straps had a metallic silver finish. The sandal soles showed light wear even after 8 years but the leather looked horrible with the silvery finish was mostly completely worn off. I was about to throw them away when I decided to research an alternative solution. I used this product and now I have my favorite sandals looking like new.

Dark
This was darker than expected so I used very, very sparingly. It make my wonderful dark pewter shoes even darker, so they do not match the purse I bought to use with them. Disappointed.

Saved my Chanel Bag!
My expensive Chanel bag got a horrible scratch/chemical burn on it and I thought my bag wasn’t repairable due to the specific silver color. Found this leather paint and it saved my bag! I ordered it in Pewter and Silver so I could mix the colors. I used a sponge brush to dab the paint & layered it. I recommend drying with a hair dryer on cold in between each layer. I’m going to add a top coat of resolene on it as soon as i can buy some- but wanted to post a picture before then incase someone else is trying to solve their bag problem too!

LG Black Steel Appliances
Unfortunately I purchased the LG “black” stainless steel appliances which turned out to be a plastic coating over the steel that chips and shows wear.I used this mixed with a drop of black acrylic paint and it worked pretty good. Covered the treated area with poly. Better then what LG suggests..black sharpie pen.

They sent “pewter” not silver
Advertised as silver but they sent pewter instead, which is much darker than silver...great quality product but it’s not what I ordered

Great value
Bought it to touch up a beloved vintage silver Coach bag. Color match not exact but close enough and I'm very pleased with the results.
