Great bit of kit!
After nearly 30 years of hillwalking in UK winter conditions, getting by with just good boots and walking poles, I finally decided to gove these a try.....I'm not getting any younger, and slipping onto my backside hurts more these days! Used them on a snowy/icy day on Scaffel Pike. They were easy to put on, even whilst wearing gloves, fit securely on my size 9.5 Salomon Quests, stayed in place, took a hammering and appeared unphased by the end of the day....no signs of damage or wear after a good few hours use. And, what a difference they made to the walk, particularly on the descent where you can walk confidently down ice/snow slopes that you'd otherwise have to shuffle down on your bottom! Definitely an energy saver on the ascent too. Highly recommend these.

Fantastic Value for Money & So Useful
I never leave reviews on products because a) I can never be bothered and b) I just don't want to spend the time writing them. However, I bought a pair of these as I introduce myself to winter hiking. They were incredibly easy to use, and did a great job on 12 miles of hiking through the snow and ice in the Yorkshire Dales. I plan to buy a second pair as a back up pair, however I don't expect them to fail any time soon, as they feel well made. I would recommend this product.

Gripped well on ice
Gripped well on ice and were comfortable to walk with, gave me confidence. Tended to move from being centred on the boot, maybe due to the links between the rubber and spikes being fairly large, but not a big problem.

Worth every penny
I meant to leave a review earlier, but I cannot fault these at all for being able to get through the snow and ice on foot when snowed in.I was able to walk to work at a fairly normal walking pace with no trouble at all. They come with velcro straps that you're meant to loop around the top to keep them in place, but I couldn't quite work out how you're meant to attach them. I didn't really need them in any case. They don't get clogged up like the ones with little clusters dotted about because there's nothing for the snow/ice to collect in.Definitely worth it and would recommend.

Kings of Iceland
These crampons are well made and easy to use. They have proved very durable and gripped the ground well when used in Iceland in the middle of winter.

Second pair
I first purchased a pair of these crampons 5 years ago. This is my second pair. They're sturdy and snug fitting on my boots. I just leave them on my winter boots because the fit is so neat. I'm happy to report that the design is better than most that I've seen others wearing, (complaining about) they're also a good sturdy and reliable product. I live in Scotland, they've been great in snow and solid ice I've never slipped once whilst wearing them.

Product looks good but One strap missing
Product looked okay but one strap meant to fit it to size was missing which was disappointing because I couldn’t return the item and order another one in time for my trip to Iceland. Otherwise, it looks sturdy.

A real struggle to put on
These are more crampons (but light ones) than snw/ice grips with much longer and sharper spikes than the studs you get in grips. Also cquite a struggle to put on. The straps are not really long enough. Only really necessary for deep sbnow and ice but difficult for walking on hard surfaces for which grips are much better.
