Perfect fit
Love the light, nice and bright perfect fit. The only thing the shell that covers the light is to thin and you see the wires need to be thicker.

Overall Nice design but fit and finish leaves room for improvement!!
THINGS WE LIKE: Was excited to install a beautiful wooden box light that was ceiling mounted. The light colored oak matches my kitchen and furniture perfectly!! LED lights Illuminates the kitchen brightly and saves energy at the same time!! Although it is real wood, it is not heavy or hard to manage. AREAS OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Although not stated in directions, it takes two people (on ladders) to install (one to install and one to hold opposite end). The wood cover is not completely true to measurements! It does not fit flush to the ceiling on one end leaving a gap of approx 1/4" (although with the sticky foam boarder around the inside edges you do NOT get a halo light effect coming out on top regardless of the gap). Attention to detailing of joints in the corners leaves one a little diapointed (as seen in photo). Lastly, the side mounting screw does not go in flush (as seen in the photo). ONE THING TO NOTE: it does NOT come with the actual ceiling mounting hardware! You will need to purchase mounting hardware separately!

Cheap, Cheap, Cheap
This fixture is BLOND wood, nothing like the ad shows or the photos taken in my kitchen after installation. The exterior box was terribly bent up, tape not in positioned to hold box closed, but folded over to the inside of the box in about 40% log the areas. I opened the shipping box and the interior box appeared in good shape with no bent corners and assumed it was okay and scheduled an electrician to install it. My doctor’s office called for me to come in the morning the electrician was expected and shortly after he arrived, I had to leave, but he opened the interior box and showed me that the wooden frame was not the color as expected, every corner had come apart where it had been stapled. It was a terrible disappointment, but he advised he thought he could get them back in place. Having been without a kitchen light for 2 weeks, I was desperate and asked him to install it so I could once again use my kitchen and see without using lanterns and I left my home for the doctor’s office. When I arrived back home, the fixture was installed. The light is bright which is the ONLY good thing I can say about it! It is far less in quality than expected and I would advise anyone looking for this kind of a fixture to purchase from a company where you can visually inspect it before you make the purchase!I will need to get wood filler to hide the gaps in all of the corners so light won’t show through and will need to take the fixture down and add some kind of filler or gasket material to the tops of the wood to prevent light from escaping from between the ceiling and the fixture.WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS MFG COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Nice and Bright
We bought two and bumped them next to each other. It brightens up the whole kitchen. Love it!

Good light, nice appearance. However, exterior frame mounting is difficult and packaged with wrong hardware.
Not bad. Bought a pair of these to upgrade the lights in my mom's kitchen. The frames are real wood, with "oak" veneer paper on them. Nice match for her oak cabinets actually. They are bright, and the 4000K color balance worked well the kitchen. Both arrived well-packed with no damage.I'd given them a higher star rating, except that way the frame mounts to the fixture itself was a pain. The wood frame has a metal cleat on the inside (that you have to screw on yourself) that hooks to the fixture on one end, then the other end has a machine screw that runs through a hole in the wood and into the fixture on the other. Big complaint that I will deduct a star off for itself--the provided machine screw was too short so that was an extra trip to the hardware store (and the replacement ones aren't "brown" to match the frame, although not a big deal). So, double-check that on yours before the first trip to the hardware store. Ours were exactly the thickness of the wood frame in length, with none left over to thread into the fixture.Beyond bad QC/wrong hardware packaged, this design has two downsides. First, alignment is not positive so getting the frame lined-up to insert the screw is non-trivial. Second, there is no adjustment for cinching the frame up tight to the ceiling. They come with some foam weather-stripping-like material that you are to run along the top edge of the frame--the intent is to seal the gap between the frame and ceiling so there isn't a tell-tale crack of light showing. However, that's a bit cheesy, and didn't quite work for us (still some "leaks"). It might be worth upgrading to a better seal if you will care about that. The other issue is that unless you somehow luck-out and are mounting this exactly centered ceiling joists, you will need acquire toggle bolts or other hollow wall (ceiling) anchors--so add that to the hardware store list. Actually, we had some trouble with that, and ended-up drilling through the back of the fixture at the joist location and screwing through, which, in retrospect, is probably the better/more secure way to mount this anyway.

Bad packaging, Beautiful light. Worth the extra effort.
I absolutely love this light. It arrived broken due to the packaging. I was surprised that the cardboard was so flimsy. I made the mistake of not checking the light for damage before calling the electrician so that had to pay him to come back to put the light up for a 2nd time, so I recommend that you look inside first. Taking the box back to UPS was a hassle also. But the light is so beautiful, it was well worth it. I was concerned that there would not be enough lighting in the kitchen but it is just enough for my "great room kitchen/living/dining room 20' x13'.BTW they sent out another light prior to receiving the damaged one, which was a plus, so about 4 days later the light was up and looking beautiful. I love it and would buy again.
