Best in Class
After hours of research, I reduced my search for a hybrid USB mic down to this and the current market favourite the Shure MV7, after listening to several raw recordings online I felt this had a much more natural and attractive sound signature and better noise performance using the onboard USB interface. I've been really impressed by the richness of the sound, the performance over USB, plosive handling, and off axis rejection.Only downside I've noticed is the internal shock mount does not deal with direct contact very well. I.e. it will reject a tap on the desk, but won't reject a tap on the boom arm or mic mount. As the mount is integral and self tightening, I don't believe this can be changed. This can easily be avoided by appropriately placing the boom arm before begining recording.Though it's a small price to pay for sound as good as this, at such a low price point. Very impressed.

Superb mic
I love this mic. Bought it so I could use it with an iPad, and in all honesty, prefer the sound to the Shure SM7B. Certainly £ for £ its a better mic if you take your time to set it up. Dont get me wrong, the Shure is amazing (I have 2 of them) but for podcasts, honestly, you ant go wrong with this mic.

Absolutely Amazing Microphone!
This microphone is simply amazing. Really simple plug and play with the USB option. Can use with or without the pop filter. I use it with voicemeeter and applied a small gain decrease filter in OBS and it doesn't bang or clang when touched or moved. It looks amazing. The sound is clear and it doesn't pick up background noise. It is on the heavy side, I got the Rode mic arm and it holds it perfectly wherever I move it to. A cheap mic arm will sag. Perfect choice for me, and Samson themselves are really lovely! 🤩

A good solid mic
I have a couple of XLR mics for my home podcast setup but wanted a USB mic so I could record on the road.I love this mic! The sound is excellent; it feels solid and is a quality product. My only minor gripe is that it's heavier than I would like. But that's a small price to pay for sound and build quality. If you're looking for a mic to start your recording process but don't want to break the bank, I’d recommend it.

Great sounding, clear quality
I've been threw a few microphones for my podcasting and streaming, this is easily one of the best sounding and clearest I've ever had. I love using it.

Good, while it lasted.
Great microphone for the price, got it for 100 on a sale (200 now, though I've seen it jump to 160 frequently). Lasted for roughly 2 months, then it started to have issues. The quality would drop suddenly, I would sound robotic and tinny and very very quiet, it would eventually fix its self randomly, after about 3 months it remained in this broken state, I tried a different interface, I tried via XLR and usb, I even tried two other mics to make sure it wasn't either my interface or PC, it was clearly just this microphone.I've read a lot of reviews stating similar things. Contacted Samson support twice and had no response, ended up refunding directly via Amazon (Consumer rights act - you have I think 3 or so months to refund a broken product, but you need to contact support directly, you can't initiate the refund through the order tracker.). No issues returning and refunding it, but it's a shame how unresponsive Samson are. This is a great mic for the price, probably the best in this price range, but it's not worth the risk.Avoid.

Fantastic audio quality
A big step up in quality and offers a lot of versatility. Really pleased with it. It is slightly heavy so make sure you have a good boom arm or stand. Inevitably, can spend more on a cloudlifter and. Audio interface to supplement this and bring even more value.

Good for two years, then went kaput.
I've enjoyed this microphone for a couple of years. It didn't cost a lot, but has heft and audio quality. However, it's suddenly stopped working. There's no support for it, the warranty page only applies for the US (not the UK), and I'm less than a month away from the warranty expiring regardless. What a shame. I've reattached my old Yeti mic, which is working great.
