Just made some agar trays with this and I think its a great value. It made agar trays without the extra hassle of mixing different ingredients. I woild recommend this. Its easy to use, affordable and works well

This is quality agar that dissolves easily, sterilizes well, and promotes strong culture growth.

I’ve used this several times successfully, both as directed, or mixed with nutrient broth to make motility agar. The main qualm I have is that I can’t find the ingredients and amounts, which would be very helpful when making custom agars. Maybe I missed it, but it’s not on the bottle and I couldn’t find it on the web page. I’ll probably switch to HiMedia just for that reason once I’m done with this.
