Love these! They've lasted well over a year (I think closer to 2) without any dulling and with minimal adhesive failure. They've gotta be plugged in at all times, BUT I haven't had to replace the battery in the remote at all so that's awesome. These strip lights are great for the price and have a nice look. I will say; however, please make sure you switch the 4 pin connector to the AC adapter around if the lights don’t work at first. I discovered there is a negative and positive that has to be connected the right way. So if you plug up and your lights don’t turn on, don’t worry just unplug and plug it back in the other way around. They should color coordinate which side belongs where. Other than that, the controller is good and the app you can download is even better. Makes my office/game room look really cool. Again, good price too.

They dont stay on the wall & I've had to reapply a few times. An area on the lights has already stopped working. They were a good price & long strands.

I bought these lights to decorate an outdoor Christmas tree I made. I know the listing says they’re for indoor use, but I’ve been using them outside and they still haven’t burned out. Honestly, even if they did, I wouldn’t mind—the two rolls cost me only $10, and I’m only using one. I still have the second roll brand‑new. To keep them from getting damaged, I don’t turn them on when it rains. I wait about 24 hours after the rain stops before using them again. I also wrapped the control box in a plastic bag to protect it from water. Because the sensor is covered, I can only change the colors using the app on my phone—the handheld remote doesn’t work through the plastic. It’s a small inconvenience, but the final result looks so beautiful that I really don’t mind at all.
