JETech Case for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch (1st and 2nd Generation, 2015 and 2017 Model), Auto Wake/Sleep (Matcha Green)

Okay, so first of all I have owned every generation of iPad. So, I have had quite a few. Each iPad I purchase I put an InvisibleShield on it and over time using various expensive cases the InvisibleShield has to be replaced guaranteed. Cases I have purchased before are the $99, $129, $150 dollar cases from name brand makers. I have also purchased Apple brand cases for the iPad Air. When I purchased my iPad Pro 12.9 there wasn't too many choices in iPad cases at the time. An InvisibleShield costs $65 so really I was looking for a case to perform as intended without affecting the InvisibleShield and without obstructing the connection ports that is durable. I came across this iPad case which by all standards looks like an official Apple brand case at a fraction of the cost. I decided to try it, the investment was small and figured this case would hold me over until I could purchase a higher end case when they became more easily available on the market. Well, guess what...6 months later and I am still using this case and have no plans whatsoever to replace it. I love it. Sad, that I wasted so much money on the expensive cases prior to finding this one. Color options are great. This case does not obstruct any of the ports (which others can/have). This case works flawlessly with the iPad, when the cover is closed the iPad shuts immediately off and when opened the iPad turns on immediately. I access this iPad using this case about 12 separate times a day, 7 days a week so that is about 2,000+ times I have directly used this case and have had no issues whatsoever. Shocking, I know. That has not been the case with the higher end cases. Don't get me wrong not all cases are bad, but this case definitely stands out. Now, here is the best part...it does not interfere with my InvisibleShield. WOW! This is the FIRST case that I have purchased, seen and used that does not interfere with the use of the InvisibleShield. Point blank I am a happy camper. I thought for sure there would be wear and tear after much use on this case because of the price point, but no it remains in perfect condition and has held up perfectly. Easy to clean. High quality. Also, what I noticed was the iPad 12.9 Pro is significantly lighter while much bigger than the iPad Air . It was important that this case kept the iPad 12.9 Pro light and it does. The case does not add any noticeable weight to the iPad. Bottomline, I do not have any complaints or issues with this case. When I buy another iPad, I will be right back here buying another case without hesitation. It is a slim case and not bulky. Fits easily in purse.

Light weight, form fitting, lined inside cover, stands up well in both formats and looks to me just like the Apple product that's very expensive. I really like the material feel and all the cutouts are precise and spot on. I'm deducting one star because the cutouts side facing up are very slim and as the material is plastic, it tends to be vulnerable to breakage. I received the case quickly and well packaged, but with one of the cutout (volume rocker area) broken. I decided to live with it. The other day I felt asleep on the couch while using the iPad and it slipped onto the couch edge and then rolled off (I believe that's how it went) and landed on the wood floor, so that's close to a two-feet drop. As a result the top left corner, the side away from the power button, broke off about 3/4 of an inch but the point is that it did its job (kudos!) and the iPad shows no signs of damage or scratch of any kind either to the bezel or the face glass. So yes, this is a keeper but IMHO I do wish it were a bit more durable as it is now broken in two places but the corner one is more major as it prevents a full 4 cornered snug fit. On the other hand, the price is incredible so I can't complain and yes I would buy it again.

I have a 2nd Gen 12.9 inch iPad that I use primarily as a Kindle and for online magazines and news. The case I had was too cumbersome and heavy, and was a constant source of irritation. While looking for a Smart Cover or equivalent on Amazon I saw the JETech Case and took a chance and ordered it. The case is a perfect solution and is light and and well made. It provides much more protection than a smart cover and is exactly what I was looking for. My thanks to the folks at JETech for such a superior product at a great price!

I ordered this as my old IPad case had worn out. This one was a perfect fit and a great price. It attaches easily and I am still using it. Would definitely recommend!

Bought this to protect my iPad from scratches. It seems to be of good quality. It's a protective case rather than just a screen cover. It adds a little weight to your iPad (ounces), but that's in exchange for solid protection. Auto wakes as indicated and doesn't block any of the controls.

I had previously purchased a case from JETech and while it was very inexpensive, I wasn't really thrilled with it. Not bad for the money, but not something I wanted to keep using. This is a different proposition. It's not perfect - as some reviews state, the speaker holes on one side are slightly encroached upon by the case. Basically, that side of the case just needs more lip and that would get the speaker holes aligned as they are on the other side. The rest of the ports and buttons are easily accessible. The plastic back is well-made and feels good in hand. The 'smart' cover, honestly, feels almost as good as the real thing. The outside is a durable material and the inside, which fits against the screen, is a soft velour-like material. The hinge is solid and well-manufacturered. When folded, it makes a stable stand for the iPad Pro. If this case were $40-50, I would likely give it four-stars. If it were $25-30, I'd give it five-stars. But it only costs half that - it's just a ridiculous bargain. The Apple version costs $140. If you told me that I could spend $140 on the Apple case or I could spend $13 on this case and have $130 still in my hand, I'd buy this case every single time. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for some protection for their iPad Pro. Even if you're waiting for a backordered Smart Keyboard, this case is good enough to hold you over until you get it and then serve you whenever you wanted to take the keyboard case off and go slimmer. Really pleasantly surprised by this product.
