This book compiles and explains the Avixa CTS-I content better than the website. Breaks down math better, more pictures, etc. I failed the exam my first go around using Avixa’s online resources. Used the book the 2nd time and passed. I’d recommend it.

Whether looking to take the test and get your CTS-I, or not, this book is packed with fundamental information that everyone in the field should know and understand. There is some simple physics and some relatively simple math but most of the book is about hows and whys of common industry business and technical practices, and what should be common sense to people in the field. Also makes for a great well-rounded reference book for the more experienced technician.
