I get really itchy mosquito bites that swell up and turn red, and generally, it makes me hate mosquitoes, getting bitten, and the great outdoors. I've tried everything else, from rubbing salt, toothpaste, garlic, those sticks with some kind of liquid to stop the itchiness, multiple medications. The only thing that kind of worked was taking multiple medications, but then I'm sleepy, and I'm also popping tons of pills every several hours. Also, you're carrying around a lot of kit. All the other things only worked for a short period of time, or just made it a little less itchy, so I had resigned myself to a life of itchiness. Plus, you know, since I react so badly to bites, mosquitoes are attracted to me and to no one else.I stumbled across the heated spoon trick recently, and I was desperate, so the next time I got bitten, I was just outside the house, and I tried it. It actually worked for both me and my son. However, carrying an electric kettle and a spoon out in the field isn't really feasible. So I got this nifty little item.Unfortunately, for some bites, it does not seem to work very well, but I suspect that's because they aren't mosquito bites. When I have a confirmed mosquito bite, this item is amazing. I have only done the 3 second option because it's already hot before 3 s, and I'm worried about burns. Plus, the 3 s option is enough if it's a mosquito bite.I just killed a blood sucking mosquito earlier today, and within a few minutes, I used this item, and it did try to swell up, but it wasn't itchy at all. Now, a few hours later, the swelling and the redness is gone. No itchiness.I totally recommend this item. It's convenient, it's portable, it's easy to use. Plus, you don't smell of garlic or have sticky fingers from smearing some weird paste that only sort of works for a couple hours at most, and then you're stuck trying to use other home remedies for the next couple days. In addition to healing from the weeping wound that you've scratched open.So just buy it.

Ok this might not be clear but this item heats up and it hurts when you put it on the bite HOWEVER, it stops the itch completely. Perfect if you get bit up in the Deep South and want to sleep easily without Benadryl. It’s effective, seems durable, holds a charge, sleek design but realize it does sting a little.

This is literally the only device I've used that ACTUALY stops the intense itch I experience with mosquito bites. When I get punctured by mosquitos in my native Texas, the bite area swells enormously & the itch is so intense I sometimes think I'm gonna lose my mind. Over the years, I've tried countless creams, ointments, gels, pills, etcetera; but this little heating device is the only aid that has every stopped the itch dead in its tracks!I experienced one the worst mosquito attacks of my life back in October 2023, which is when I went searching for something that would actually help. Thankfully, I have not had such a horrible mosquito attack like that again, but I have continued to use the Beurer BR60 Insect Bite Relief Pen.I use it on any mosquito bite for the full 6 seconds, & yes, it does sting a little bit, but this device will never burn your skin. To me, it's small price to pay; a little temporary, transient pain to solve what would be hours of intense itching. I don't even care HOW it works, just that it works. I must say, I was shocked at just how effective the application of heat is at stopping the histamine overreaction my body has to mosquito bites. I only wish I had known this was an option years earlier.I've been using the same device since October of 2023, I just replace the batteries when needed, but I can assure you, if my device ever stops working, I will immediately purchase another one. This product is amazing! I get covered in mosquito bites every summer, so I keep this in my pocketbook now&it's ready in just a few seconds. I've used it on brand new bites (which it DOES work better on), but I've used it on day old bites, as well&it still surprisingly works to alleviate the itch&welping. I have only used it on mosquito bites atm. I also have a teen I have used it on&it works good for her too. But I have to use it in particular places with my 4 yr old..there definitely is a burning/stingy feeling when using this device, so I only use it for half the time of the sensitive skin setting&only on the not-so-tender areas on her body. She knows it will make it not itch..so she doesn't cry or anything when it's applied, the sting isn't that bad...its just uncomfortable. I do believe, hands down, that the stinging/burning feel of using this device is so much better than the downside of itching constantly, welped up places that are hot to the touch& possibly get infected..this device has erased all of those issues for my household now. Would recommend to all families, but not use on any children under the age of 3 in my opinion. Value for the money was totally worth it!! It's made very well, not cheap made@all. Seems to be made like a $60+device. No smell when using. Check your pkg thoroughly when you open it@first. The batteries ARE included, they're just hidden in the box it comes in.
