Just bought this for landrover Defender which doesn't get used all the time and needs a fully charged battery to turn over the V8. Found it very easy to set up and uses the 12v power point to inversely trickle charge the battery . I will probably Hard wire it to the battery in the future for neatness using the second cable and remove the crocodile clips. Only downside (and its very minor) is the charging light is a bit hard to see and would be better on the reverse of solar panel. I havnt had it long enough to see how well it does in different weather conditions or through winter but so far very pleased with it.

They do work well, I have one on my yacht to trickle charge the battery. It is the second one I've bought because the first one died, but it was after 2 years permanently mounted in the marine environment! So that's still quite impressive for the money.

So far so good. Its been maintaining my car battery at 12.5 volts. Will have to see how it fairs during winter

this is a fantastic bit of kit especially if you don’t use your vehicle very much or going away for a lengthy period of time.peace of mind knowing you won’t suffer the dreaded flat battery.the charger comes with sturdy crocodile clips to stay secure on the battery terminals and a connector that separates the solar charger from the battery connections.4 suction cups so it stays secure either on a window or clean painted surface.the best part is it still charges through tinted windows, obviously not at full capacity but as my car has tinted rear windows i wanted to see if it worked and it still had an output of around 9 to 10.5 volts so will still maintain some charge in your battery.great bit of kit.

Word well. Leads are a sensible length to reach battery. Choice of direct 'jaw' connectors or plug in.

The item cannot be tested yet, as a circuit tester is required, but not supplied. It does however appear to be in order.

Just the job, perfect. Still need to purchase some more of these
