I love that this rod is $18, lol. The ends are plastic, but unless you're looking closely (and who does) you'd never notice. Partner did report it is a pain to install the screws behind the rod cups. It might be nice if a small screwdriver were enclosed with the hardware.

Very good quality for the price. Others have commented on difficulty with the screw at the bend. It's not a problem, just put that one in first while holding the bracket to the side, then put in the other. The first screw can still be accessed for the last couple turns. REMINDER: the rods come with plastic protectors on the ends so they are protected during shipping. There are also little plastic "sleeves," maybe an inch long that keep the inner rod, which is of smaller diameter, centered in the larger one. Don't throw it out by mistake! (I did, but luckily I hadn't yet taken out the garbage when I realized what I had done.) Also, the "screws" that are turned to keep the rod from moving in the bracket once the rod and curtains are in place are plastic so be careful with them.

Ordered 7 sets of this rod (plus 2 more sets in larger sizes for other windows) for a house we are renting. As tempted as I am to send them all back, I have already figured out workarounds for all the major issues, so it would be more hassle than it is worth. Buyer beware! First, the installation is tricky to say the least. The top bracket screw is nearly impossible to set in straight because it is directly behind the closest rod holder. There is no true mechanism to tighten the ends of each rod together to keep them from pulling apart or pulling together when opening or closing the curtains, which wouldn't be a big deal if the set screws in each of the brackets weren't stripped out. To top it all off, several of the end caps on the smaller rods have mysteriously popped out and disappeared into thin air, so despite repeated searches for them in the limited areas the packages were opened and installed, several ends are completely open so even if one could tighten the set screws any further, it would end up crushing the end of the rod. We won't be buying from this manufacturer again.

This is very sturdy, it maybe a little difficult at first to assemble but once you figure it out it’s super simpleI ended up buying one for each kids bedroom and living room

I ordered 3 of these. They are a good value for the price and look nice once mounted and the curtains hung. Screwing the brackets in is a bit of a challenge, but not any harder than other double curtain rods that I've used before. The only thing that would really make them better is if they were a bit more heavy duty.

This was a great purchase for a entry room with nine windows, however the distance between the front rod and the rear rod is too small for any real ringed curtains. If your just sliding a sleeved curtain over the rod it would be perfect. The finials are plastic, and not brushed aluminum nor nickel.

I bought this as a temporary rod for a bathroom. It's fairly plain and simple, but I wasn't aware that the end pieces were a silver colored plastic. It's not really a big deal, it's going to be in the garbage in about 2 years so I wasn't looking for high quality, but I guess I thought they'd at least be a metal of some sort. The rod itself is metal and it feels sturdy and secure and installing it was easy.

Looked nice and works. Was worried it because I read the reviews but when I got it I was happy with it.

Realmente no sirve ni para una cortina delgada, el tubo esta tambaleado y es demasiado delgado, parace de papel, una compra realmente tirada a la basura.
