My favorite brand of Pen
Cross pens have always been my favorite brand of pen but they were always so extremely expensive that they were a luxury item for me to purchase for myself! If you have not noticed, I have a pen fetish, lol! I LOVE pens! Ones that write smoothly and well! As a lark I decided to look for a Cross pen and was surprised to find this one that was/is so reasonably priced that I just HAD to have it! Would you believe that it is still in the box? I simply LOVE my Cross pen! It is so beautiful, plus I am writing with my fountain ink pen first. I just had to have a Cross Pen! The grip fits perfectly. Yes I felt it, then wiped it off and put it back in the case! If you want to treat yourself to the perfect writing tool, purchase yourself a Cross Pen, you will not be disappointed!

Not the Black Cross …
While not the black Cross pen I thought I was ordering (to replace one I lost), I’ll keep this larger, thicker version as a gift for a guy.I do appreciate Cross quality.

I like this pen!
So I do like the way this pen writes. The ink flows nice. It writes smooth with no skipping. I bought the refills with it also because I have a hard time finding refills for pens unless I know the exact name of pen. The design is simply pretty. It is not a click pen. One must turn the bottom of the pen to use. It's a good value for the money. I have only one small very minor complaint. I have a planner that I use daily and it has a place for me to put a pen through a loop. The clip on the pen is very tight. I suppose this is a good thing for some people but it's hard for me to get pen out of the loop on my planner. That being said, that's not a deal breaker for me.

Ehhh, not what I was expecting.
The pen itself looks very nice and has a nice weight. Two things that drive nuts about this pen. The first is that the tip of the pen is always dry - pretty annoying to always have to scribble very hard to get the ink flow started every time you need to write something down (you'll always need scratch paper to do this, and it makes spontaneous note taking or signatures nearly impossible). The second annoying this about this pen is the clicking sound of the ink cartridge. For such a solid feeling pen, there is a tiny bit of slack between the ink cartridge and the inner barrel of the pen, so the pen makes jingly/clicky sounds when you write or handle the pen. Is the pen giftable?... I think there are better options (also within the same price range).
