I have to confess that I'm absolutely in love with these bowls. The main advantage is that the handles enable you to zap you food in the microwave and then easily carry it around the house. Plus, they have a great rustic charm. They are definitely the star of my stoneware collection.Also, I have nothing but good things to say about the company. My first set arrived with a small chip on the white bowl. When I contacted the company about the problem, they sent out an entirely new set without charging me a dime. I would definitely order again from them.

I received these soup mugs a couple of days ago. They appear to be of good quality. However, the 22 ounce capacity is not true. I filled one of the mugs to overflowing, poured the contents into a measuring cup, and it almost reached 20 ounces. In my opinion, the max useable capacity is about 16 ounces. I like the mugs and I plan on using them a lot, but was disappointed with the untrue stated capacity...hence the four stars.

I really want to give these 5 stars because of they way they look and they are the perfect size for me (for chili or pot pies), but they chip on the rims easily so I can't. If you can store them without stacking them (I just don't have the room), they're a great buy.

This is a nice set of bowls they are very good sized, and heavy The handles on the sides stay cool and make it easy to eat your chili while you watch the game. These are really well made and affordable.

The ad shows 4 bowls that say 'SOUP', I received 3 bowls that say soup and 1 bowl that says 'BOWL'. Kind of irksome but not the worst part. That particular bowl also looks as though it was purchased at a yard sale after 10 years of use! The glaze is super dull and the letters have yellowed. It actually has like a yellow stain in other places as well. I initially thought I could maybe wash it off, but no...It was hard to capture the yellowing, I went outside in natural light, but trust me, it's there.The glaze on the others was not perfect either but I would have chalked that up to rustic appeal. Unfortunately that teal bowl ruined it for me! I hope that the images I provided help someone else.I'll be returning mine.

As others have stated - these are NOT 22 ounces. They comfortably hold 16 ounces. I checked it with a measuring cup and 17 ounces puts it right up to the top. Although they are a nice quality, they're cute, and I am keeping them, I will continue to look for something bigger. I was hoping to find a replacement for our two old soup bowls, which hold 24 ounces and I was so excited to find this set on Amazon. However, there is a big difference between 16 ounces and the 22 ounces advertised. I'm bummed.

So glad I purchased these nice soup bowls; especially like the durable feel of them with the double handles. They hold the perfect amount of a hearty serving of soup. I like the variable coloring as well. There is just something "homey" looking about this styling with the word "Soup" on each of the bowls.

These are really cute soup bowls that I bought for a really great price. I purchased them for my daughter who asked for them particularly for her birthday. She already had one bowl like these at home that someone had given her and she said that she and her husband were always fighting over who got to use it! When I opened this purchase to wrap for her birthday, I found that two of the bowls were chipped on the rim. I didn't have time to return them and reorder, so I gave them to my daughter, telling her about how they arrived slightly damaged and offered to return them for her. But, she said no, this way they would match the bowl she already had, seeing how it was chipped, too. I would rate these bowls 5 stars except for them arriving chipped. Just make sure if you order them, you inspect your bowls!
