Teriffic DIY rail. Fairly easy and straight forward to install. Very sturdy and well made. You will need to use a hammer drill to sink the anchor bolts in concrete. The length bolts you need depends on the foundation you are installing to. Go to the manufacturer website for correct information, not what Amazon listed. I used Tapcon anchors that are available from Lowes and Home Depot. 5/16" x 2 1/4" anchorsare the proper size for a poured concrete step. Besides the drill, all you need is a level, hard rubber mallet and a wrench or ratchet for the anchors-maybe a hacksaw if you have to trim a leg for non standard stair heights. I installed mine alone. but a second set of hands would be helpful.

Sturdy construction with easy installation. Highly recommend.
Excellent product. Very good workmanship and sturdiness, and installation was quite easy. The only part of the process where I needed help was when my wife held the railing level so I could measure what to trim off. The toughest part of the whole deal was drilling eight anchor holes in concrete. For anchoring, I opted to use sleeve anchors over screws, as I have no intention of ever removing the anchors, and sleeves take less effort to install than screws do. (I also didn't like that Tapcon says only use screws about an inch longer than the material. That seemed insufficient for the support I was seeking.)

Heavy and Sturdy!
Easy to install! Super sturdy! And best of all, it's not some cheaply steel frame. This bad boy has some weight to it which I know if someone slips or falls, the railing won't bend or fall on them.

GREAT RAILING
This railing was exactly what we needed. The kit was complete and we find it to be rock solid and very stylish. I only have a cheap 12v drill driver which was totally inadequate for drilling into our tile and concrete. Fortunately I have a friend with a hammer drill and impact wrench. The right tools made the installation quick and easy.

Good buy
Works very well. Note that mounting holes are 3/8" in diameter,

A beautiful railing.
Cutting the piece to plumb was difficult. I used a hack saw & needed help. The wood screws I ordered with it worked out well. The covering for the base was difficult to get on & could be designed better. Another suggestion would be a larger base to screw into for stability. This is an awesome railing otherwise.

Very sturdy and very beautiful
Very sturdy and very beautiful. I didn't budget correctly for my home improvement project and ended up needing 3 of these, I am glad I bought them and I'm happy with them, but I wish they weren't so expensive!
