This is a brilliant bit of kit that prevents port damage on your camera. Its a good product but! why, I cant understand why is the cable soooo short it bearly fits to any of my cameras. It shout be at least 2cm longer Please!

Used it a ton, still works like new, looks like a really high quality, both the cable and the unit itself. Love the minimalist size and as you might guess, it's easy to use.

HDMI type-A to type-D adaptor. The Sony A7Cii has quite a few design flaws, one of them is the inclusion of a micro-HDMI port - it's very vulnerable and just waiting to get ripped off the mainboard. Fortunately Smallrig make this solution and it works very well, allowing full-size HDMI cables to be attached and removed with zero stress to the mini port itself. Note that you also need a camera cage to attach this to - many of which also have a cable clamp which further strengthens the connection. I do wish there was a version with a right-angle HDMI-D plug so the cable wasn't sticking out so much.

This one is major I wish I tried this earlier. Kind of makes me hate smallHD brand for their stingy and elitist cabling but here we go I could resolve it. Still hating sony alpha though 😂 Good image but the pain of horrible menus and the small body etc I can’t love it after used canon body as my first.

This is a must have if you have a camera cage! It means you can leave this plugged in all the time and use a full size HDMI cable! No more worrying about micro hdmis breaking or snapping!

I really wanted to love it. However, due to the using it in the field on a project these last 3 weeks the connector is already bent due to a small knock on the 2nd day. Luckily it didn't get stuck into my Canon R5 (That would be an expensive repair). This is not the fault of Small Rig, it's the fault of Canon using a micro HDMI on their professional camera. I will buy another one as it's still the best one out there and try to be more careful, but it is not easy being careful in the field on projects.

Con la lente di 50mm la camera è a 330cm e mi serviva una soluzione più robusta HDMI rispetto alla porta mini HDMI della Sony ZV-E10. Cavetto Perfetto e si avvita al rig, se fosse stato più lungo di un paio di cm ancora meglio. Consiglio.

Good investment if you are planning to add external monitor this is the one you need it will protect your HDMI port specially the micro HDMI version they are super fragile and wobbly this will keep it snug and secure.

Le câble est trop court et le micro HDMI est très fragile. Je l'ai plié après seulement 30 minutes d'utilisation ! J'ai dû acheter un serre-câble, car l'utiliser sans est inconcevable.
