works great, but the papers for it are just a little too small. Meat will stick if you don't use the papers, and it will be hard to get the patty out. I solved the problem by buying bigger papers. When I make the patties, I lay down a coffee filter, put in two ice cream scoops of meat, lay down a coffee filter on top, then press the meat. It makes the perfect 1/4 lb. patty. After pressing I take the coffee filter off the top, add salt and pepper, lay down one of the papers it comes with or the bigger one you buy and place the patty on that. Coffee filters come off really easy and you don't want to keep them on there. But they are cheap and easy to use to form the patty. I freeze the patties in the freezer for an hour, then stack them and vacuum seal them. I always make around 40 patties so we can bring them out for meals when we need them. Love this product and it does work great. Would buy from again but you will only need one unless you have your whole family making patties to go quicker and make more. As far as the meat, I mix ground venison, ground breakfast sausage venison, ground hamburger and pork sausage mixed very well. Makes for a great tasting burger on the grill.

This is a no frills press so there isn't much to say other than it works as expected. It's heavy/sturdy and I don't anticipate it breaking like my plastic one did. I do wish the papers that came with it were a little bit bigger as it doesn't quite cover the entire patty so they stick together when frozen. Other than that, it's great.

Years ago I got a 100% plastic one of these with a lift plate https://a.co/d/5wMXLqJ but the plastic press handle cracked. This metal one fits perfectly in the plastic base and the lift plate means no need for the wax paper. An excellent solution for max functionality.

This patty press gets the job done but I think there are better options. First of all the patties tend to stick in here and it can be difficult to get them out. It does come with small discs of wax paper and if you use those it of course won't stick but once those run out that's where you may run into issues with sticking.Mine lasted less than 2 years and the coating/finish started to corrode and I didn't feel it was safe to eat food made with it. I bought a different press with a removable bottom so no more sticking patties. I did like the size of this one though, or should I say the size of the patties that it made. Overall, I wouldn't but it again though.

Easy to use and does what it says it will do. Makes it easy to make burger patties now.

This is a perfect tool to have in your kitchen. I thought it was a waste of money however it makes the perfect hamburger each time.
