Q: Many mention that it installs on the wheel without the key. . Does this lead to Oops. forgot key at home/now can't use my own car?

Yes, that's possible. I attached the key to my car key and haven't had a problem but I'm assuming someone's done it.

Q: Whoever stole my car, unlocked the door. Why wouldn't it be just as easy to pick the lock on this device?

That would be assuming that the kit they carry to pop door locks has the picks that work on the club. It literally only makes it harder, and less worth the effort to steal a car. If they really want it, they could just bring a flatbed and not even open the car at all.

Q: Is the entire lock made of metal, or only part of it is metal? Appreciate your answer.

All of it is metal, but covered with a layer of plastic, I like it but I am not using it, I bought it for jeep, but the way the steering wheel in jeep is made, make the entire luck turn around freely, so I went back to the old fashion one that locks to the breaks

Q: Will this work on toyota Tacoma 08

It will work however I single hook model is easier to use on that truck.
