Learn Math Fast System Volume II: Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages

This is the 2nd volume of this book I have gotten. I love the way it explains how to do the problems. Especially with the fractions. If I had known how to do it the way this books explains it when I was in school, it would have been so much easier for me. This was my 4th year homeschooling my 16 year old son, and I am so glad we went with this math book series.

I wanted to get the full series but wanted to try getting one by one for them to review. This is so easy to understand wished I would have gotten these years ago.

My daughter hates math and got behind during Covid shut downs. We started homeschooling and realized she had gaps in her math knowledge. This book series is so helpful to quickly move through math subjects. We can stay on an item she doesn't get until she does and we can move on. We're not moving as quickly as I had hoped but that is more about her not the book. It's a good fill in the gaps.

I'm really happy with this purchase. As a homeschooling parent we have tried many times to find the right math curriculum for our kids...with a lot of flops. Those flops included: Life of Fred, Mammoth Math, Teaching Textbooks (I liked this one but the kids were not retaining much.), Math Lesson for a Living Education, various online programs and workbooks. This program, Learn Math Fast, is written by a homeschool mom and it shows. The approach is logical and simple. There is not a ton of pictures or stories. Instead this program focuses on the student understanding the concepts at hand and it does a good job of doing so. As someone who lacks math skills I appreciate that I can learn some of these concepts right along with my kids. My math challenged daughter proudly shouted out that she loved fractions yesterday....I don't believe I've ever heard those words uttered from anyone. I didn't give it 5 stars because I feel that there could be a few more math problems for the kids to solve. Its not a big deal as I can just print free worksheets when needed for free from various websites.

My son was having some regression with math. We started this book and things have quickly turned around. I'm impressed with how quickly he's remembering things, and he's impressed with how quick the lessons are.

I love how this teaches. It gives the lesson first then a set review worksheet page for them to do and then a speed drill of facts. I have had trouble teaching my son and seeing him progress and this curriculum has done it. He is now enjoying math and the best part is the fact that its so simple. Love this in our homeschool. No more searching for math.

Got this and book one to catch one of my kids up. The explanations are really simple and easily rekindle my math knowledge, allowing me to help my child when they’re stuck.

This is so good for helping people to catch up or review.

My home educated teenager is motivated in studying this autonomously every day and is enjoying it.
