I've used this twice to trim grass along my porch and sidewalk. It's light weight and did the job quickly. It doesn't take long to charge. My only quibble is that you have to keep holding the safety lock while using the trimmer. I think this is great for small jobs, but wouldn't want to tackle an entire hedge with it.

Fantastic little item. I have a friend that bought similar item just different brand and more money. His does not work nearly as well as mine. His item had trouble with cutting wet grass and was slower. This item does no problem with wet or dry, cuts through grass no problem. It doesn't cut through tougher items but that is not what it's intended for. A weed wacker if used will damaged softer or plastic surfaces it hits, you cannot easily hit something with this item because the outermost metal pieces are non-moving. That design allows me to maneuver the item into tight spaces and close to borders or the house frame without worrying about cutting something unintentionally or wearing out the blade. The battery lasts an hour or so,and does so reliably every time I charge it. Sometimes I have to charge it and return to the project but it is well worth the weight and that is the only downfall I can think of for the item. I would definitely recommend it. People I know who see me use it are wanting to buy one because it is so useful, easy to transport and convenient. You must be able to bend over to do grass/weeds with it of course or buy one with a pole. One more point: it is very sharp! Learned the first day to not get a my fingers anywhere near the blade. Can cut the tip of a finger off no problem. Also, is a bit of a challenge to change the cutting pieces but you learn how to once you figure it out the first time. Great buy. Great brand!

Works well for triming grass

These little clippers are a workhorse. The hedge trimming blade works as well as the weed trimming blade. Both of them do an excellent job. I cut 30 feet of thick monkey grass almost to the ground with the weed trimmer. I trimmed hedges almost as good as a pro with the hedge trimming blade. I was amazed at how lightweight they were and how easy they were to use. I liked it so well that I ordered another one for my mother. She also loves them. The battery last a long time and it charges back up pretty quickly. I highly recommend these weed clippers.

My mom had one similar and I loved using it as a kid to help out.....wanted one for my own and got it. So easy to use and powerful. Light weight and charge stay a long time.

Perfect for what this product is designed to do. It cuts grass quickly in a single pass. It feels comfortable and balanced in my hand. For what it can do it's not heavy at all. The hedge trimmer attachment works perfect as well. It doesn't bog down when trimming hedges. Keep in mind this isn't designed trim a hedge to half it's size. If you want something easy to use to keep your hedges and bushes looking good then this will work very well for you. Just trim every couple of weeks and you'll never need to pull out the big heavy battery trimmer or extension cords for electric trimmer. It comes apart easily for cleaning. Keep it clean and lubricated and it should work well for a long time.

Initially I was very satisfied with the shears but today I plugged them in to charge and they have been on charger for 5 hours and hasn't charged. My window for return has expired. Don't waste your money on these.The grass shears is easy to use and works well but the battery life is that long. I used the topiary shears yet because after inserting the topiary shears I can't get the cover onto handle. I've put in an inquiry to company but haven't heard back been it's only been 1 day. I may end up returning them if I don't hear back from company even though I love the grass shears.

This is light weight and hand held. It chews through the weeds at the base of my plants in seconds! We have a dense, wild garden that only need a bit of tending so it is perfect. FYI: the blade for cutting weeds is great but the 4" "hedge" attachment....not so good. Kinda dull and useless, even on grass so I threw it out.
