Hard Punching Lightweight
Well worth it. Very clean sound. No noise. Plenty of power. HINT: those 20v batteries on your power drill are perfect for creating a portable boom box project.Years before Bluetooth speakers became a thing (but after iPods) I cannibalized Klipsh, Cerwin Vega, Altec, JBL, home speakers to build boom boxes and have recently replaced the old amplifiers with these. They ALWAYS work fine. And your battery will play for hours if you are reasonable with the volume. Most folks don’t realize how much volume you can get with 1 watt/channel, 15 is overkill.Still, watch out for distortion and high end sizzle because it’s possible to overpower some high efficiency speakers.

Perfect for my project needs
It works as intended, no noticeable issues with audio quailty. Bluetooth connection is good and it gets much louder than you might expect from a little amp that sits in the palm of your hand. Perfect for a little project.

Small, cheap and powerful sound amplifier DIY. My very old speakers look new and amazing again
First, I enjoyed the simple pleasure to build it. I like very much listening music. My wife asked me for years that I throw away my old aiwa and jbl speakers. I builded it in less than 10 minutes with the included small screwdriver. Instructions are available in youtube. I had to get an ac/dc adapter (12 V, 1 A). It was an amazing moment for me when I attached my usb flash with music, and when I connected my smartphone with bluetooth. I ordered additional units to make gifts to friends.

It is small but pwerful
Okay, I got this item to add power to some speakers, and it did just that. So now the computer speakers are louder, and the volume knob is easy to use. But, you have to buy a power supply, which is more expensive then the unit. Also, no instructions. So if your now a DIYer you might have problems putting it together. Although, there is not much to doing that. All in all it is a very nice gadget. I'd give it a 4.5 stars, due to lack of a power supply, and no instructions.

USB interface works surprisingly well!
Works surprisingly well! I am using a Raspberry Pi running piCorePlayer connected via USB to the amp. Perfect for in-wall speakers. The headphone connection is excellent for testing!

Makes sound
I highly doubt it can push the listed wattage, but it makes sound reasonably which is enough for my purposes. The Bluetooth is frustrating with no way to put it in pairing mode to block the last connected device.

Great sound
I made my own battery box for my boat trolling motor and install two marine speakers. I was surprised how much volume and base that I got out of this very small item. Very happy with it and glad that I purchased it. All tools required to install are included and the quality is very good.

SO small! Works great!
Definitely use an old computer power supply as it seems to handle and work better with higher input voltage (it can handle between 9 and 24 volts). My supply is 19V and is connected to my iPad and to two 8 Ohm speakers. Plenty loud enough.Be careful not to place it on something metal, as some of the circuit board's solders protrude through the base, slightly/ just enough to make contact. You could tape over them. I glued a base onto mine.
