Having worked in government for many years I understood the "P" ratings for shredders. Since I have PII that identity thieves could use I wanted a P-5 or above shredder to shred private confidential documents. I was skeptical when I saw the size of this shredder and its P-5 claim. This is the REAL DEAL! Check out my pics especially the individual shred size. This shredder is a BEAST! It is truly a P-5 shredder capable, micro cut, of shredding highly confidential documents. The value for the price is undeniable. The set up is easy. The shred quality is excellent. The design and size are perfect. Auto start and stop capable. Can easily handle unto 12 sheets at a time. Has reverse capability... not that I needed to use it. Can shred credit cards with ease. No complaints here. Does exactly what I need it to do. If you have a business or personally identifiable information (PII) or confidential information that you want to destroy with ease, this is your shredder. If there is one observation this is it, it may not be practical for a business where there are multiple users. That said, If a business has this shredder for individual user use this is well worth the investment.

Where do I start? This shredder did not jam once. This 12-cut micro shredder shredded everything I gave it to cut. No way any personal data is salvageable with this machine. The security aspect is "spot on!" There is no piecing together something like they do in the movies. Plus, I saved money purchasing this shredder from Amazon. Bottom line: so far, it has worked as advertised. Holds a ton of shredded material. I have to say, though, I was not speed-feeding items as I wanted to go slowly to get the feel of what it could do. My next step is to "go for it," and push through loads of flyers, envelopes - post cards and all other stuff to test the 40-minute claim speed. I must say, it is a little disconcerting to see it "back cut" which slows down the input, but the manual says that's the way the machine clears any possible paper jams and resharpens the cutter blades. I viewed other 12-cut micro shredders for lots more money, hopefully, I have gotten a good deal and a good product. Stay tuned. Well, went at using my shredder full-throttle: This thing is quiet, and it hummed along for 20-minutes flat out! No hiccups - nothing - just shredding its heart out! I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

After returning the first one I received ( it didn't work), I received another one. I absolutely like this work horse. It shreds paper so easy and is very reliable. And not to mention, it is really quiet (compared to my old one. For the price, it is a great buy.

Was the best paper shredder I ever used until it shut off, burn smell from a jam. I got over 21/2 years from this and it worked awesome. Unfortunately, these companies only have 1 year warranty: a sad scam to provide products with only a 1 year guarantee and no accountability to replace or repair. I would buy again with an amazon warranty attached....Wife got me another brand, so we shall see

My old shredder choked on 3 sheets and overheated after a few minutes. This shredder is very powerful and runs long enough to fill the entire bin. No headaches, excellent value.

The product stands up to the description. The shredder is quiet and does a good job of shredding. It’s easy to assemble too. I’ve only used it once, but thought it was worthy of a good review. It’s also a great size for home use.

Works well, pretty quiet. So far I'm very satisfied. The wheels could be a bit larger as it doesn't move so easily. But doable!

Operating instructions should be more detailed. Not clear how if you have to hold the forward (or reverse) button for , to continuous shredding.So far, after only using it one time, appears to operate satisfactorily.
