I am completely blown away by this DK Knowledge Encyclopedia Ocean! book. I snagged it for a fantastic price of $8 (it's $10 now, but still a great deal!), and it is absolutely gorgeous.As a teacher, my original intention was to add this to my classroom library, thinking it would be an incredible resource for my students. However, after seeing it in person, I've decided it's staying right here with me! The visuals are breathtaking, and the amount of information is incredible. It's truly a beautiful and comprehensive book that captures the wonder of our oceans. I love it and have no regrets about keeping it for my personal collection!

This Ocean book is absolutely fantastic! My kids are completely hooked — we had to get one for the grandparents house and for home. The pictures are stunning, the facts are fun and easy to understand, and it sparks so many questions and conversations about sea creatures and the ocean. I love most DK published books. They provide great quality pictures and information. I often give these away for bday gifts for kids and everyone loves them including parents.

Excellent book, very educational, its images make reading more enjoyable

More than just animals! This book is lived by my three year old who absolutely adores sea creatures! She loves reading this book and learning about new animals.

My 3-year-old is obsessed with animals and the ocean and begs to watch ocean documentaries daily. He absolutely loves this encyclopedia and enjoys matching his ocean animal toys to the pictures in the book and pointing out the different types of animals and educating others on them. He brings this book to bed every night and brings it out of his room to look at during the day. It has needed some repair work since he is not the most gentle with handling it, but I will gladly repurchase this many times over because it is so engaging and educational for him. He proudly explained to his grandma that some whales like humpbacks have baleen and they eat krill, and other whales like sperm whales have teeth and they dive deep and eat squid... all things he learned and retained from us reading the book together!

Oh my gosh. For the first time EVER I'm grateful for a power outage! I read the book on my Kindle and was actually disappointed when power was restored! I love the DK books and will spend more time, "old school" enjoying more than tv. Thank you for the reminder and the experience!
