I admittedly bought these to carry in my bag and pop into my mouth and bite if some stranger tries to mess with me when I’m out at night alone. A man tells me to smile? He’ll never forget a smile oozing with (fake) blood. A neat alternative to pepper spray or a weapon, especially since so many venues confiscate those. Nobody thinks to take away your fake blood capsules. They DO taste gross, but they aren’t marketed for oral use, so I don’t fault them for that. (Don’t actually swallow/eat them!!) They are also a little tough to break open (whether you’re using your teeth or your fingers), but not impossible. Used them once for a Halloween costume, too!

Great if there’s a 6hr wait at the er. I read the reviews that say it taste terrible. I haven’t tasted a lot of blood but what I have tasted wasn’t very pleasant. Perhaps it’s very life like which is what’s being paid for after all right.

Worked pretty well but just tastes bitter. Only flaw.

Wow... Just wow. I needed blood capsules for an upcoming performance so I bought these and I'm so glad I tried them at home because I immediately had to spit the liquid out, it tasted so foul. I can't even describe it, I guess it kind of tastes like if you have a pill in your mouth for too long? Absolutely disgusting, I won't be able to use it on stage or I'll puke. Also, the blood coloring is a little too pink-based, doesn't look super realistic. Nothing really too good about this item
