Sinple hot pad, gets hot, works great, good value. The xxl size is the most versatile. A good purchase.

Heating pad for those really bad menstrual days
Great heating pad that works especially when you are a female with cramps on flow day. Usually keeping it on your lower belly does help to make it through the day. Very easy to use and it's cord length is fine to reach my bed when I am laying down. The pad itself is soft and comfortable to use.

Best heating pad money can buy
Great heating pad bought a couple years back still works and the straps make it easy to roll up and store. The pad does get super hot on the higher setting beware!

Works well as advertised with a few caveats
No problem out of the box on day one. My skin is sensitive so the only setting I use is warm, which is plenty of heat for me. It relaxes the muscles on warm; however, the highest setting is too hot for me. I’m disappointed that I can’t get a straight AI answer on whether or not I can put it on my back and lean on it in a chair safely which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. I tried on my lower back in a chair leaning on it and it got too hot on my back. It is made of polyester. I have an allergy to polyester, so far it hasn’t caused a problem. One side is soft with a blue color and the other side is a gray cover with instructions printed on it. I’m unclear which side should be applied to my skin so I tried both with same result. It’s light weight but not flimsy. Sunbeam usual quality. It is machine washable on the gentle cycle and low heat dryer.Looks like I have a newer version from the ones in the pictures in the Amazon ratings. I recommend a purchase if you’re willing to lay the pad on top of the affected muscle rather than leaning on it or laying on top of it.

Buy A Different Brand
UPDATE: I decided to contact Sunbeam through Amazon after this heating pad completely failed after less than 7 months. (Actually, I've bought at least 8 or 9 Sunbeam heating pads in recent years through Amazon or in stores, and all failed in months, but I never filed a complaint.) So this time, I contacted Sunbeam about this heating pad because I'm tired of wasting my money. They sent me a list of information they needed such as model number, proof of purchase, code number from the electric prong (which is illegible for normally sighted people, no less someone with low vision like me, but I got it with a 10x magnifier, and they also wanted a photo of the pad. After sending them the information, a day or two went by without a response from them. I threw away the nonfunctional heating pad. Then a day or two after that, they replied with a whole list of MORE pictures and information they needed, as well as asking me for the same information all over again! It was all ridiculous! I had already given them the model number, but they wanted me to write it on a piece of paper, and take a picture of it on the heating pad! WHY?? They already had the picture I sent of the heating pad, and they already had the model number I gave them! Then they wanted me to take a "clear" picture of the code on the inside of the electrical prong, which is impossible even for a fully sighted person. The code is silver on a silver prong and is on the inside of the prong! I reminded them I had already given them a picture of the heating pad, the model number, the code number, and proof of purchase from Amazon. I told them I had thrown the broken heating pad away, and then after all that back and forth and making me jump through hoops, they informed me there would be no refund or replacement unless I could ship the broken heating pad back to them! Note: This is Sunbeam customer service, not Amazon. They should call themselves Sunbeam Customer No-Service, and obviously I will never buy another thing from them. Also obvious they don't care, otherwise they wouldn't treat faithful customers this way.Very disappointed in Sunbeam heating pads. Apparently they are now made to fail within a short period of time. The quality has gone far downhill. I've bought many of their heating pads over the years, and most recently have had this same issue of them not working very long. I only got this one because of the large size for my bad back. Bought it in July last year. Didn't start using it until September due to a health issue. Now it's only seven months later, and it no longer works. I expect a heating pad at this price to work much longer than that. From what I'm reading, it's useless to contact customer service. I will just look for a different brand with good reviews. Shame on you, Sunbeam. This is a ripoff.

Does a Great Job
I recently hurt my lower back overdoing something and my old heating pad was not cutting it. I ordered this one because the size was perfect and it had a soft cover.I didn't want one of the big ones that would heat up too much of my back and just make me hot so I settled on this size. It's perfect. Covers just the lower half of my back. Also wanted a soft material in case it ended up in direct contact with my skin. The 4 heat settings are great. I start off on high and then lower it as needed. It also has a safety feature that shuts it down after awhile in case I fall asleep. Overall, it works perfectly, is the right size, and has a soft cover. Added bonus is a long cord so I can plug it into an outlet and use it laying on the sofa. It's everything I was looking for.

Perfect!
Great product! It gets very hot! It does not have a plastic feel like other and does not get bunched up with creases. It’s very comfortable. The auto shut off works well. All around A+ product.

Worth the buy
I use this every night.I have hypothyroidism and get so achy by the end of the day. I love how long this is and find myself using is multiple times a day. Love that it turns off after I fall asleep.
