The 20th series of the world's most popular car show sees Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May in typically explosive form. In the course of six packed-programs, they set out to race a car against an America's Cup yacht up the coast of New Zealand, launch a highly scientific process to find the world's fastest taxi, and do their bit for European economic turmoil by blasting across Spain in three "affordable" supercars. One of the last good seasons
This was one of the last seasons with the original presenters. This has the car vs yacht race across New Zealand, the van hovercraft conversion and plenty of other crazy challenges. There's also the party of stars to introduce the new Vauxhall Astra reasonably priced car. The series caps with the tribute to British automobile manufacturing that was pretty good.

Excellent price for an excellent show!
I've been a huge fan of Top Gear UK for years now. Not having cable makes watching episodes hard of course, so I've been buying the DVD's, and I got this one for a good price on sale. I absolutely love it! One of my all time favorite Top Gear moments comes from this season. Absolutely fantastic!

Love this new season
It may not be the most exciting season ever, at least not to us Americans when they are discussing hot hatches, but I find myself loving every minute of it, and so do my friends and family. Its seriously a show anyone can watch and enjoy. This season delivers a good blend of British humor and Top Gear's famously amazing cinematography while Jeremy, James, and Richard continue to mesh together better every year. It was a long time coming, but its worth the wait.

Like a variety show, but no Tim Conway
Jeremy interviews celebrities. James reminisces about the good old days. Richard flies off in his helicopter. And once in a while, we see cars. The cars tend to be the heady stuff of teenage bedroom posters. The speeds are far beyond legal, the pranks and stunts the kind of thing that ought to see these guys behind bars and the Stig never comments in a language humans can understand, let alone hear. My only complaint: a mere six episodes in this season. SIX! Fortunately the Beeb brings new seasons out pretty quickly.

Not the best series, but still excellent
This wasn't as long as some of the other series (only six episodes, and few special features), but it delivers the same quality we have come to expect. One of the top ten shows of all time - if you haven't checked it out, you really should.

Brilliant, hilarious, engaging...everything you expect from the TopGear team. I was sad when I reached the last episode! The individual segments are not as edited as when broadcast on BBC Canada, so you get way more Top Gear on these DVDs.
