This model has only a good appearance with no function/power.
The heat coming out of this devise is so weak, with no power to heat the room. Besides, it emits a mechanical smell. This is a cheap toy (simplistic cheap structure inside) with a good sophisticated look on the surface. An over-priced waste...

I returned it.
I returned this item after impulse buying it on a lightning deal for $255 a few weeks ago. IMHO, it's a big silly thing that made about as much heat as a $20 toaster. Just my $.02.

Works well, but interface panel/control buttons need work
My husband bought this panel heater for me to use in the bedroom. He liked that it had a thin design that was very low key and wouldn't be dangerous to the touch. I didn't want to like this expensive thing but once we started to use it, I found that it works quite well. Our bedroom is the coldest room upstairs because it is north facing and it's the largest bedroom. Sometimes on the coldest days, our built in convector needs help keeping us toasty and the Objecto heater does a great job of it. Once we set the temp and set it to auto, it takes maybe half an hour or an hour to reach 75 degrees, and we find that our home heating system doesn't really kick on when this is on, so it definitely can heat our bedroom on its own. There are several things that annoy me about this unit, though. For the hefty price, I feel that they should have at least sprung for 2 temperature buttons, one for up and one for down, rather than just a single button that toggles through from the 60s to the 80s sequentially, one degree at a time. Every time you hit a button the unit beeps obnoxiously loud, so I am afraid to adjust the temp when my husband is asleep next to me. That's probably the most obvious flaw in my opinion. The second is the remote control. It's virtually useless. It has a timer off, temp, off and mode button. That's it. There is no ON/power button! You can't turn the unit on with the remote, but you can turn it off. No temp up or down button here either, just the temp button that increases sequentially again. Honestly for $300, these user interface issues should not exist!

Really Nice. Really Expensive.
This is a beautifully designed space heater and very safe for what it is (a space heater). It has a child lock feature and a tip sensor, plus an automatic shutoff switch that acts both as a safety measure and as an energy saver. Objecto makes beautiful products, and this is no exception. At over two feet long, this is not a small heater, but it really is unobtrusive and elegant, especially in a modern setting. The heater itself functions well and is quiet. Whether the heater is worth the price tag depends in part on how much you like its looks and in part on how long it lasts. The former is your call, the latter unknown at this time. However, it appears to be well built.

I returned it - the unit came without the remote.
