Truvativ Hussefelt Stem 0 Degree

This stem is great. There are other stems you can buy for more and a few you can buy for less (although the ones for less look like they'd break after a bumpy ride, in my opinion). This one balances strength and quality with price. I highly recommend it. Reducing the distance to my handlebars by the approximate 3" that this short handlebar stem has provided has made a huge difference in the fit of my bike.

Solid stem. Very stiff and robust. I like the fact that the bolts are 5 mm all around. Plus, it looks really nice too. Can't say any more since I haven't ridden much. Will update. Update 10/4/16: installed on my commuter hardtail which may be loaned to some team members. I'm a short guy so this stem works very well. As I said previously, it's very stiff, robust, and good looking. A bit heavy, but my bike is about 30 lbs anyway so I could really care less.

I bought this specifically for use with my 31.8mm bars, since none of my other stems were this size. I also wanted a short stem, so this fit the bill. I wasn't able to find one like this locally (surprisingly). It looks great - I don't usually like excessive branding but this isn't bad, really. It keeps you in a more upright position, so if you feel like you're leaning too far forward, it may be a good stem to check out. It's very sturdy and very well-made - the only downsides might be if it's not fitting you comfortably which is 100% personal preference and all about the way you like to ride. I happen to love it.

This was the perfect change for my MTB. Nice and short but built like a tank. This this has been abused for some time now and I have had no issues at all. If I ever need another stem for a MTB or BMX I'll be getting one of these. Shipping was fast as usual.

I bought this stem for my Surly Crosscheck because the frame is a smidge long for me. The stem fits great with a shim on my 26.0 bar. It's a little heavy for a road bike, but is built strong enough for some serious mountain biking. Price was great and fit the budget.

Inexpensive, short 40mm length, sturdy & well built! I had noticed that I was too hunched over and my arms were out-stretched with my elbows not bent. My arms were a bit short for my bike for a proper fit. I moved the seat all the way forward on the seat post and it was a bit better. I then bought and installed this shorter length handle bar stem (replaced 80mm with this 40mm stem). I am now perfect with my posture, and I am able to control the bike on the technical stuff so much better. I absolutely love my short stem Hussefelt.

This stem is great. I went from a 100 mm stem with a bit of rise and 20mm rise bars, to this stem with 40 mm rise bars and it positions me in a much more comfortable upright position. The front is now way lighter and with slightly wider bars only a little more twitchy. Much less than I was expecting which is good. The install took about 15 minutes including changing my controls over to the new bars. The quality is great, the finish is great. All and all a very nice stem at a very good price.

I’ve had this stem for about a week. It’s held up to rough and bumpy trails and looks awesome. An important note is that you will need a 5mm Allen key to install the stem which is not included. This is a great, low cost stem if you want to shorten up your reach.

Buena potencia... Robusta y con un diseño atractivo.Yo la tuve que comprar porque mi MTB es de 2 tallas superior a la mía y se agradece todo lo que acerca el manillar. La recomiendo.

Does what it should and didn't cost a fortune like some others! Seems well made and durable.

Der Umstieg von dem originalen 10cm Vorbau mit 64cm Lenker meines Ghost MTB auf die Hussefelt Kombi war wirklich eine sehr gute Entscheidung, denn ich habe gleich den passenden Lenker von Hussefelt in 70cm/4cm Rise mit montiert. Dessen Rise gleicht die fehlenden paar cm in der Höhe aufgrund des kürzeren Vorbaus wieder aus. Mit kürzerem Vorbau sitzt man nicht mehr halb nach vorne liegend auf dem Rad und die Belastung der Handgelenke wird somit geringer, da der Schwerpunkt weiter richtung Sattel wandert. Beide Teile sind wirklich sehr massiv und stabil konstruiert, trotzdem ist das Gewicht in Relation zur Bauweise wirklich top, man merkt wirklich den Downhill-Charakter und für mich hat diese Kombi ein unschlagbares P/L-Vehältnis!
