Perfect for smoothies, chowders, and more!
My husband likes to add milk to the green smoothie he drinks every morning, but liquid milk has a short shelf life and takes up too much space in my small fridge. I bought this powdered milk to replace regular liquid milk. It frees me from having to buy heavy milk and the long shelf life makes it easy to use. This is a great alternative to liquid milk. I'm in my 50s, and about 10 years ago I started to feel sick to my stomach whenever I drink regular liquid milk. However, this powdered milk does not cause any stomach issue - not reuse exactly why maybe it is because it is low in fat? When added to dishes like chowder, it make the dish really creamy you cannot tell is it nonfat. What's more, this price is a great deal for this amount. It's smooth and not sticky, and even when you add it to dishes like corn chowder, it still tastes like regular milk. I like it so much, we ran out in only one month (this is our second purchase). It doesn't come with a measuring spoon for scooping the milk, so you'll need to prepare your own small container or spoon. Highly recommended.

good quality addition to pantry & emergency supplies. Add cals/protein/nutrition w/ease
Edit to add: it is AWESOME for use in cafe lattes. It froths up really well. Makes a sturdy froth that tops off my espresso gorgeously. I just use a simple milk frother to make super quick easy foam.If you order from the warehouse you have to know that it may have a short shelf life left on it (though should be a ways out if ordering from regular Amazon). Taking a chance on reduced pricing. I think this is a bargain at regular pricing. HUGE container. I normally don't care about the best by date, because it is only referencing the guaranteed quality, not the safety. So mine is 2 months out, and I doubt I will have this used by then. But it will be fine beyond that. I bought this more as a back up in case of scarcity or skyrocketing food prices. I normally just drink non dairy "milk", but will use stuff like this in recipes that call for dairy milk. I also dont mind it as a creamer. One thing that is nice about powdered milk is being able to make it as rich and creamy or as light and bland as you want. Use more or less according to preferred taste. I think this has very good flavor.I have used it directly in coffee with some effort to get lumps out. Best when use a little frother mixer. Nice for adding to smoothies and such if looking to boost protein and other vitamin and minerals. Might be helpful to those that can use the extra calories and nutrition boost without having to consume added volume (thinking ill or elderly).I'd get this again. I have two big containers so it might be awhile. But I may buy extras and give away.

Convenient, tasty, cost efficient at current pricing
Well, it's powdered milk. Looks like and tastes like. How good it tastes depends on your concentration. I buy it because I now live alone and gallon jugs spoil ln me unless I freeze portions at a time and quart jugs are at a very poor price point even considering that it won't spoil and be discarded.I use milk a lot these days for cappuccino and sometimes for cold cereal or boosting oatmeal and other drinks like hot chocolate. So these, the powdered is great as needed. Cost is relatively high but when factoring in the cost of gas, time and aggravation to get to the only 2 cheapest sources I can find, it's kind pf a wash...at least at the present price point. I think it comes out to about $4/gal vs $3.29 for 1% Milk or $2.99 for Fat Free so this is more but again, gas in my Bronco would run about that dollar difference and for multiple trips. It's not easy to mix so I now do about 3 cups at a time and the ratio to water is easy to remember..basically 1:3 plus a few extra drops of water, maybe a tablespoon I eyeball.I'll still get the real thing when it works my way but rest assured if you mix it properly it's just great.Another thing for me...my fridge is a side by side/small. Gallon jugs take up a lot of space. One mason jar at a time is a huge help.

Amazing taste. Best powdered milk
Mixes well in cold water with no lumps. Use a whisk people! Chill overnight before serving for best results but i have drank this right after mixing and it still tastes good just i prefer it colder. You cant tell this is lowfat powdered milk. Closest we found to cows milk. Great for baking and coffee!

Good price and quality!
The best price I can ever find and the powder mixes well and tastes as expected. The only concern is that it’s refrigerated life is less than 1week!

Better than brand names I previously used.
Milk is better than I was getting in grocery store. I add some to milk or cream in recipes and it makes a creamy product. When whipping cream I add two tablespoons to a pint and stabilizes whipping cream, keeps in refrigerator much longer, doesn’t get watery. Boost protein in dishes and no chalky taste.

Dried Powdered non-fat milk is a great substitute for liquid milk products
Dried powdered milk may take some getting used to, and is not especially tasty by itself, but when used instead of liquid milk products can serve as a very useful and useable product to have around, because it doesn't sour and is very healthy as a dairy product. It's hard to say if it is a money saver in and of itself, but its longevity alone can save a lot of wasted money.

Poor, very poor, choice of cardboard container. Not meant for long-term storage or use.
My review is not about the product itself the pottered milk is fine.. my disappointment is that some genius in marketing decided to save a couple pennies in package a fine product in cardboard casing rather than good old-fashioned steel can.My advice to those with small families or like me single to look for a product in steel casing i.e. a can especially if you’re going to use this in storage.. it’s a perfect item for vermin and easily chewed into for the powdered milk.., for the sake of a few penny, saved using cardboard rather than a metal can. I cannot advise buying this.
