How could I even live without this before?
Dollar for Dollar, this is a must for anyone that works on their own cars.Yes, you have to spend a few dollars, but for the cost of 3 diagnosis at the dealership, you get to own the tool. It is great to simply deep scan and buy and replace the part, but lots of OBD scanners can do that already. There is a place where this totally outperforms the others, it not only tells you what is wrong, the live data and tests save hours and frustration troubleshooting the problems. For example, car did not start and had no DTCs.Plugged this in, with car off, activated fuel pump, that worked. Activated each injector individually, all worked. Activated each valve individually, that worked. And systematically tested everything to determine it was oil pressure at cold-crank. There is no DTC for that, but by just sitting in the driver's seat for less than an hour, I was able to test everything and see the live data. This is not a scanner, this is needed tool in modern automotive technology, you NEED it just like a screwdriver and a good pair of plyers.

Not a good start
The unit came with no program software loaded. Just blank screens. Getting a replacement one sent out. Foxwell customer support was no help said to get ahold of Amazon support because they are the seller. So if you buy off Amazon the Foxwell customer service will not help you.

Helpful scan tool for 100’s of vehicles, a nice LED screen, 4000mAh battery and strong performance.
This NT716 Bidirectional Scan Tool by FOXWELL, has been a great diagnostic tool, that can do so many helpful things, elevating my backyard mechanic skills dramatically. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – It looks and feels like it’s solidly built tool out of good materials. The 5.5” LED screen is bright and responsive to the touch. The outer shell provides good protection. I’d put it in the upper-middle level of the quality scale and guess that it should hold up well over time, assuming the electronics survive.II. Performance – This is a great machine if you want to be able to access multiple vehicles with the same device. It claims to support 100+ Car brands from 1996 to 2025 and it has worked great on my personal vehicles. It won’t go as deep or allow as much control on any single vehicle as if you get one specific for that vehicle. However, it’ll do a good amount of the things that are commonly needed and provides a lot of usability for diagnosis and testing, you wouldn’t normally have access to. The 4000mAh battery and connectivity, have worked great so far. It comes with a digital screen that’s sufficient for the job without having tinny print and the touchscreen in very responsive. It also offers live data viewing that can be very helpful if you know how to use that data.III. Updates – This product claims to offer free updates for life, while many others I’ve had have a cost extra to update the device after 2 years.Overall, this is a solid scan tool that has worked wonderful for my needs so far. It’s a great device that offers a lot of useful information and abilities to help me be a successful backyard mechanic for all of my cars. I also, feel like it’s a good value for what you’re getting, because of the free updates and depth and amount of features. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.
